Germany didn't came to play they came to slay What a Beatiful song, This song is so powerful. We are all from the same blood, we are all humans, no barriers we are one, there no difference 12 points from France to Germany
Such a grateful and deserving band. I will be voting, with many of my friends for them tomorrow at Eurovision Grand Final, in hopes that they will get top-five finish❤
LOTL is just awesome, last year in April my first concert after the pandemic was with LOTL. They did an Ensemble show where they play their songs purely acustic. With violins, cello (incl Chris playing it). Magical experience and just beautyful. On top one gets the sense...those guys are just lovely people with big hearts. And for this interview...so happy you asked questions about their art and how it comes to be. Not to mention you got the Lady Gaga reference on point. For your German, that was on point.
Lovely interview with a an amazing and humble band. I discovered them through Eurovision and I've been listening to almost nothing but Lord of the Lost 😃🤗🖤
Nina, this was an excellent interview! Thank you for asking Chris about the song-writing process, that was really illuminating! I will take away 'Potato English' for this, because that's *totally* something I do as well when composing. I didn't think it might be perhaps common!
I was a bit unsure as to whether I'd watch this, being Eurovision related, but with a quiet few minutes decide to ... One of the best interviews I've watched, in fact not so much an interview more a composer's masterclass engulfed by a friendly chat.
Saw these guys supporting Maiden in London. Brilliant. Then in September the wife listened to the Album. She loved it. And for 2 whole weeks it was played as we drove around the Scottish Highlands and what an experiance. The dramatic scenary with fitting music. Hope to see you live soon
Hello Nina, that's interesting that you were able to do an interview with the German group. Great questions and good answers. This was unlike most TV interviews. I like this. @ LORD OF THE LOST: Toi, Toi, Toi Have a nice time in Liverpool Greetings from Germany
Hi fellow Nina! Great interview, well done! The guys are all adorable and your questions were very interesting. I've been a music journalist myself for many years and I always tried to not ask cliche questions. I also loved how Chris actually interviewed you and noticed pet hair on your clothes, that was so cute! Mutual respect is the key. You don't get to see it often in interviews. Also from now on I'll forever link "potato English" to Chris, as I didn't know this hilarious expression before 😅
Wow Nina you speak German too.❤️👍 The only German speaking in our family is my niece she's a nurse there. And now I know Walter name is from Walt disney, love that❤️nice interview Nina!
I loved meeting Lord Of The Lost!
Ich habe es geliebt, Lord Of The Lost zu treffen
❤ Support them at the Eurovision final tomorrow ❤

Thank you so much for watching and enjoying! They’re so good live, I bet you had an amazing time ☺️
@@ninaschofield They are amazing on record but live its just another lvl. Looking forward seeing them here in Hamburg on their own Lordfest.
You asked some great questions, which gives a good insight of the creativity of the band. I had a listen to their 2021 album, "Judas", really good.
So glad you enjoyed it! They’re lovely, talented people 😊
Great interview Nina. Your german is wonderful. The first time in my Life (60y) , i see the ESC. Hope, LotL becomes many points from the Fans.🤘
Danke! I was very nervous about getting the German right 😅 Enjoy Eurovision!
@@ninaschofield Das hast du super gemacht, wie das ganze Interview. Hope, see you at your next Nightwish reaction.🤘
I now definitely want at least a 1 hour interview/ talk between all of you about songwriting and potato English. 😁🥰
Haha that would be the dream 🥔 🎶
Lovely interview with a an amazing and humble band. I discovered them through Eurovision and I've been listening to almost nothing but Lord of the Lost 😃🤗🖤
I have heard chris in a few interviews, he seems a realy nice eloquent man, good luck for the final guys.
Germany will have my vote from France for the Grand Final of Eurovision Song Contest tomorrow night

@@ninaschofield it was an absolute pleasure 💓
Germany is back in the game to win Eurovision Song Contest
Oh no, I hope Pi got their ring back! (dropped it at 10:17 then it rolled to Claas)

... thank you, @Nina Schofield! The band seemed to feel really embraced by you. Interesting interview! All the best.
Thanks so much!

So glad you enjoyed the interview Nina! Not often i meet a fellow namesake :) Potato English is clearly the key to songwriting!
As an avid follower of this ever evolving band my vote has already been cast! LOTL rule!
Great interview!
Beautiful interview, different ideas and questions. So enjoyed this.

Lord of the Lost. Literally.

I speak a little German 💕 So glad you enjoyed it!
Omg how did I not notice it was a Gaga reference! I absolutely adore that song too 😭
Poor guys, damn… I didn’t really vibe with the song, but they seem great as people.
Dusseldorf 2024
Nice German there, Nina!
Danke! :)
Loved this interview but very disappointed you didn't get to interview Voyager
I wish I could have interviewed Voyager, unfortunately their schedule was full 😔 I’ll still be cheering them on tomorrow!
@@ninaschofield Aww it's ok Nina they must be pretty popular if their schedule was full but you have done an amazing job at Eurovision.
They sound so weak. The sound is too low.
Do you mean the audio is quiet? It’s working fine for me so not sure why it is quiet for you I’m afraid.
The problem is that the sound is only on one channel at a time. The mic of Lord of the Lost is on the left channel and Ninas is on the right channel.
