Congratulations to Glasgow from a Stormers supporter! I believe that we are steaming too far away from our DNA despite the talk of restoring it. Although our kicking is effective, it is typically for the wrong reasons and i firmly believe that Manie should pass the ball around more instead of trying to take the glory from himself. Sometimes you have to be the 15th best player as it is way better that trying too hard to be stylish. There is no worst player when everyone is standing firm and working through a team effort. Sasha should quite obviously be our place kicker as it is the best and most efficient method. We are stuck in this thought process that we want to produce and make Libbok an incredible player that goes through his entire career being backed through ups and downs like a son. Although it is heartwarming, we have to put guys in their place when they mess up. We need him but not this version of him full of one trick pony playing styles.
I didn't watch the game but it seems like Manie had another stinker. He clearly doesn't have the grit for knock out rugby and should either be subbed or given a more reduced role (as you say) to benefit the team. He's great when he's on song but no man is bigger than the team.

I agree with @theriddler5601 How has the Stormers “DNA” become reliant on cross-kicks and grubbers? It happens so often it’s become predictable and it works 1/4 times…. The rest of the time we turn over possession.

Whole team played k#k, Manie proving his critics right again, Mngomezulu being denied to give Manie more chances. Hopefully he's our starting 10 next season with a better 9 and a 15 who doesnt put his team under pressure with stupid kicks
Gelant has improved quite drastically, he is just typically a gamble like Willie. Manie is mostly responsible for the kicking. Feinberg shouldn’t be a 10 or 15 considering he makes better decisions when at 12 due to how he is so much better with an instinctive game and not a though out one. If we think about how we could benifit at test level with Siya Masuku, Grant Williams AND Sacha with Tony Brown at the helm, then the possibilities are endless.

Stormers kicking was woeful but just as bad was the refs case of bias, he was a stinker. How did Sten stay on the field following his head hit on Gelant while in the air but Moerat gets sent off for an accidental head contact. Both head hits; Steyn took his man out in the air by changing direction - a deliberate action. WTH. Glasgow was never onside during defence and not a single penalty, 80min of offside defence, no wonder the Stormers could not break the line. Pathetic office makes us turn off the screens and not buy tickets - think about that URC.
The kicking out of hand by the Stormers was inept..with the wind advantage, all they did was kick to the Glasgow back 3, who fielded everything without any pressure. High and short kicks would have allowed the Stormers backing to contest.
And it wasn't long ago I got stick on this platform from all the Mannie brigade. As mentioned before, can't be trusted at higher honour's when you can't be trusted off the tee. It's a shame really, as he's shown why he won't be given the 10 against the Irish and perhaps ABs.

Many Libbopk looked like a rabbit in headlights. Not only was his goal kicking pathetic so was his general play. Lost all faith in him
I was at the game and it was clear Glasgow had targeted him as a weakness in defence. They ran straight at him all night long and the wee guy didn’t have a clue how to handle it. The Stormers coaches should have noticed this and taken him off after 20 minutes to avoid the onslaught - they didn’t, his confidence was shot, his kicking was laughable to the point where the crowd were pleading for him to get the ball so we could see how many cock-ups he was capable of in one game.
No matter that he does not match up. He is the right colour. Win or loose is not a concern for our politicians.

With respect, I wish the bulls a humbling. I don't appreciate Jake White in the media saying that the bulls probably won't get past Leinster or Munster. Its mind games and dishonest. But apart from Jake White, to the team, themselves: the very few times I have watched them, they really get the rub of the green from the referee and they love it. Perhaps they get a lot of 50/50 calls owing to their spot on the log, and they're a well drilled team, but I believe their position on the log is enhanced because of refereeing.
As a die hard stormers support i knew our season was over the second we lost to ospreys at home !.I knew we not gonna get far this season because ending 5th means traveling and we dont play good on the road...So Dobson please get Manie a decent kicking coach PLEASE !
Manie's game is predictable. Gets the ball from the kickoff, kicks a crossfield up n under. For the next 10min keeps kicking high balls from inside his own half or 22m, his team can't exit their own half because he refuses to kick the ball downfield and the opposing team scores from being in Stormers half thanks to Manie. Stormers were lucky the Glasgow player couldn't catch the ball in front of the tryline.
I think Libbok is super talented. And sometimes the people's comments are a clear indicator of mis understanding that he is Human too.
Sometimes with sport. There is a reason why he made it In the Springboks. And when he scored everyone says some good stuff. In reality on the field I realized some expectations may be beyond on that particular day. Weather changes . Quiet injuries that affect the player or plan for the day. But hey he did his thing . Sometimes its a combination of Training and quick decision-making making but let's face facts he has proven his point and element of Surprise. But do not forget his better contribution to the sport. And he pushed the same team to that level. Will that make him a person who does not deserve the Jersey.? Maybe with little rest and a break from a hectic schedule he may show his Talents.
That's my opinion .
I support all rugby players and as a coach on basic levels I realized that . Some players also work hard to be there and it hurts to miss but also to realize he is also human.

Sad to see our Stormers being blown away by the Scots but feeling queezy about their prowess...some changes here and there wouldve sealed the deal but we clearly have some homework to do if we are to ever reach that momentum again😊

Glasgow came with a game plan and overpowered stormers and took their opportunities and won, sascha shouldve gotten some kicks. Lost too many points . Those scrum pens for warriors at 10-13 were really harsh. I don't know what yhe ref was seeing, but im a conspiracy theorist and i truly believe world rugby has an agenda against SA rugby and SA teams. Especially at scrum time

the rest of the saffas were pretty pathetic.
Franco is more Italian than saffa ( the clue is in the name ), Huw was born in Edinburgh with Welsh heritage, only saffa connection is he played there for a wee while, and Kyle is a good Scottish name.
Completely agree the real saffas were hopeless, with their most effective player being an Englishman.

This game was painful to watch 😴
Well done GW. Pitty that referee grafting played another part in a URC game. GW wing's actions in the air was yellow borderline red - player played in the air, direct contact to the face - the rules are very clear, but the referee is happy to go with just a penalty. Then Stormers 4 hit a ruck which was clearly in his own words dynamic, going sideways and changing height and the conversation is yellow or red. Made very little difference to the outcome as the Stormers were very poor on the day, but poor decisions like this hurt the game more than long scrum times.
Come on, the Stormers 4 knew exactly what he was doing, had clear line of sight, targeted the player with his shoulder, couldn’t get that right and smacked him with his head, knocking the Glasgow player unconscious. Cynical, cowardly and deserved way more than a yellow. Hopefully it will be reviewed by the powers that be.
Contrast that with two players going for the ball, contact made in a rugby incident, and a lot of play acting by the Stormers player trying to get an opponent carded. Got what he deserved - nothing.
Stormers are scared to attack with running rugby when they play in Europe.

Coaches of Stormers will hopefully finally now realise that:
1. Dweba holds the ball wrong before he throws in at Line Outs and secondly, he does not seem to have the basic ball skills needed for a Hooker. We will loose many big games with him as Hooker
2. "Manie kannie skoppie" - and why must teams like the Stormers demand from their number 10s to do the kicking. Let Manie play his game and find someone else to kick
3. Jantjies costs Stormers game after game - with his pathetic decision making, poor box kicking and taking too much time on the ball before passing.
4. Gelant is not a reliable option at Fullback. He does 2 good things but then 10 shockingly poor ones
5. Numbers 2 (lineouts), 9, 10 and 15 cost us this game - and the season
5. Stormers clearly being under instruction from Coaches to kick everything - as opposed to keep good ball in hand and play to strengths or Stormers forwards and backs - cost us this game. Again...
And no credit to Warriors

I am actually a Bulls fan - but a huge supporter of Scottish Rugby in Six Nations every year. Nothing will make me happier for Bulls vs Warriors in Final... But for that wed need 2x miracles this coming week-end...

On an international level, Scotland are nowehere as a team withot foreign players, Ireland is heavily influenced with playmakers from SH. I dont really give a toss as the NH teams need help. It helps test matches now too where we can now get excited for a NH touring . Before it was a yawn fest. You cant deny that the SH teams havent greatly upgraded their sides? Even uk coaches have said how much the inclusion of SH team in the comps have been a huge benefit , on and off the field
