You’ll never see this, but he nailed it 100% and YOU nailed it when he said young actresses modeled their whole theater identity around Kathy from TL5Ys and you added “and some actors.” I was a professional singer and was told by a voice captain that I “sang so far back” and I literally thought “who has the brightest, most forward voice I know” and I trained myself to sing super forward from your voice in that show. I also ran into you one time my Carolina hillbilly self was in NYC and you were so kind and thoughtful and actually stopped and chatted w us. It was one of the greatest moments ever bc I couldn’t steal your time to explain to you that you “taught” me to sing forward and I can even fake my way through classical and opera now but thank you for being so kind. It meant so much and I adore your voice and your flat comedic timing and temperament. ❤❤❤❤
I don't think she's a bitch I honestly think she's just not verse in talking as herself; she just doesn't like talking as herself which is totally understandable. A lot of performers are like that, that's why we perform.
Well considering Pepa was the leading character but was constantly upstaged by the development of supporting characters such as Candela and Lucia (because of LuPone).. I'd be pretty annoyed if I was her too!
Maybe she wanted all the attention on her, but I Women on The Verge had a terrible book. The story wasn't developed well, at all. I'm not at all surprised if the problems with the book were because of the shift in focus from the main story to the side characters. I think it's a legitimate criticism of the process.
She's really annoying me with her "20 feet away" stuff. She needs to do Television or film if she really doesn't like people (which in itself is pathological). The audience is a DIRECT part of the theater. She can't do what she does without them. I've met Sherie a couple of times and while she certainly isn't a mean person she is very shy and awkward. Get it together girl!!

Sherie Rene Scott is my role model. I love her sarcastic humor and her singing is so good. I'm just at a loss for words of how much she amazes me.

1:49 "we could start over, let's start over" ... why is the director staring at his crotch? ;)
