At least Blitz is trying I. Need to see a lot more from Stolas taking accountability to equalize the situation I thought it was pretty fricked for Stolas to ask Blitz if he ever apologized when he's made up to Fizz and now Verosika he even tried to smooth things over with M and M and Barb he almost apologized to Stolas the night of Full moon but was cut off
Those are things blitz probably didnt tell him until that moment/ some happen after that moment in his apology tour its a decent question considering he just said everything he'd need for an apology to stolas and said fuck you to the concept of it I definitely agree stolas needs to put in some heavy lifting here, but it was a decent question to ask considering he actual DID want to apologize to stolas but just couldnt
Bro, I don’t know if you’re blind or stupid because if you watch those episodes, you would see the only people he apologize to correctly was fizz and ver. I don’t think he ever apologized to the M&Ms and even when he did, he still is stocking on them.

2:46 The thing i noticed is that Stolas Immediately recognized that it was Blitzø before even looking at him, even when drunk, the thing is that literally nobody else at the party even recognized him from his voice or appearance alone. Blitzø is so caught up in his mind that he immediately recognizes him.
I think Stolas' line about Blitzø being there to judge him is more about his past experiences with Stella as opposed to anything Blitzø has done. He's so used to being ridiculed and looked down on in his marriage, and I suspect that's where his drinking habit started.
I just want to say that Stolas at this point thinks that him and Blitz are over. He thinks that Blitz never felt anything for him as he said in the song. “ I don’t think you meant to hurt me. Cause I don’t think it meant a thing at all to you”. Specially after that morning fiasco that Blitz said that he cuts things off before things get serious and that he thinks relationships are boring. Blitz is not looking for a relationship but Stolas is. He loves him like he said in the song, and he also is questioning his part in this messed up of a situation-ship that he had with Blitz. Also just because he didn’t said Blitz name about wanting someone, doesn’t mean that he didn’t wanted that with Blitz. He wanted that with him but Blitz shattered his hopes that very morning. Seeing Blitz is hurting him so much at this point, because in his mind what he wanted to have with him, it will never happen because Blitz will never want to. Also I would like to point out that when that guy asked Stolas to dance, Stolas looked at Blitz and didn’t go until Blitz let him. If Blitz had said something for him to not go, I don’t think he would had. Sorry for my long rant.
something sad is that blitz probably realised that he should also be at the 'i hate blitz' party, and that made him realise how many people he's hurt with his coping mechanisms and realises that he wants to change this. and not just for stolas or verosika, but mainly for himself because i believe that sneaking into this party was a wake up call for blitz. also no judgement for simping over brandon rogers' and bryce pinkham's incredible voice acting
You are absolutely right about the impact seeing a relatable character in media can have on people because at some level, it is not a fictional character anymore but a projection of one's self. I found that I have a lot in common with Stolas and the episode hit me extremely hard emotionally. It brought out some (painful?) memories of my past that I have attempted to forget and made me reflect on them. It helped me realize the shared mistakes and flaws I have with Stolas and encouraged me to want to improve and work on those flaws. As hard as it is to watch this episode it was probably for the better for Stolas, Blitz, and myself. Thanks again for the thorough analysis and the attention to every detail. Always looking forward to hearing your takes on this amazing series.
I thought I was the only one lol I related so much to both stolas and blitzo for different reasons I collapsed for a couple of days going from depression to despair, I acted in completely irrational ways and coped in really bad ways. I think that's what actual good writing does to you, it just felt real
love your content dude!! it’s nice to see someone else who is extremely passionate about helluva boss and can ramble abt all the interesting aspects of the show :)
A thing to note when Stolas first sees Blitzø at the party is that he immediately pulls the tablecloth over Blitzø’s face so nobody sees him, and he escorts him into a different room. He’s drunk and sad but is still very concerned about Blitzø’s safety
I LOVE the spiked collar and end. I think this is my favorite outfit for him overall so far. Though we can NOT forget how hard he slayed in Ozzie's, "a little much" my ass he looked stunning 😭🤩
i love how it also gives vampire vibes. don't know if that symbolizes anything but i like that he more or less dressed up a little halloween-y to fit the occassion lol
a thing about this show I haven't seen anyone point out - in Truthseekers Blitz has 3 people in his vision that are like the projection of his issues: Fizz, Verosika, and Striker. It seems like he has to overcome these people or make amends with them to be able to approach Stolas. At this point, he's already made up with Fizz, but not with Verosika, so he is blocked by the themes of her song. After making up with her, he probably also needs to defeat Striker for good, who represents class insecurity - at first Blitz defeated Striker but after being class-betrayed at Ozzies he didn't help as much the second time, causing Stolas to get hurt and setting them back. So maybe he'll have to defeat Striker for good (or Stolas maybe could as a twist) for things to be cleared between them
Stolas rarely closes his top eyes unless he feels genuinely safe and happy and it's often said they give his true feelings away. He was peeping at Blitzø 27:18
Aww i really liked Stolas' speech tho. I didn't see it as Stolas just wanting to be loved by anyone. I think it was just Stolas saying what he actually wanted after Blitz was telling him all day what he should want i e "like you don't want me, you just want a real fxcking!" Turns out Blitz wants that with Stolas. I don't think a thorough confession is coming until they fix the issues. Also I like how this is also a cognitive behavior therapy video lol
As far as Stolas not being needing a lot before getting drunk, let’s not forget we see that he is taking medication presumably for depression. Most meds and alcohol do not mix well and can intensify the effects of the alcohol
I just noticed that while they are talking in the living room at 14:07, there is a broken mirror in the background probably from a drunk party goer. I think that’s a callback to Stolas starting to realize he was misinterpreting parts of his relationship with Blitzø. And now it’s Blitzø’s turn to have realizations about it since Stolas is way too drunk to have any that will stick (Beezeljuice, wine that morning during their fight, and who knows what else). 😂 I think that’s a cool detail, even though it will obviously take time for both of them to heal themselves (before they can actually do the hard work of changing patterns of behavior). And I think they need to do that before they can truly support each other emotionally in a healthy way like they obviously want to deep down. Good video btw! 😊The HB team also deserves props for their attention to detail.
Omg... i just realized just how much im like stolas... i was raised an only child and i had hardly any friends growing up and ive struggled to socialize properly as an adult because of that.... wow. Never realized that til now. No wonder hes my main favorite for when i cosplay...❤
it's wonderful to see that you can relate to a character so much! i'm over the (full) moon to hear how his character's portrayal has caused him to resonate so deeply with you. good luck with your cosplaying!
hey, love your helluva boss analysis videos. but i think you got it wrong in a couple of places: 1. i don't think the implication of stolas getting drunk so quick is that he's a lightweight. in the first scene of the episode, which took place during the morning, when stolas was reading by the pool, you could see he had a glass of wine. i think the implication here is that he'd been drinking pretty much all day. also the first thing he did when he got to the party was get a drink, and apart from the times he was singing, he had a drink in hand at all time. so he'd been drinking for quite a while before this conversation. 2. when stolas is sitting in blitz's lap and blitz starts talking to him, i don't think stolas is pouting and turning his head because he's "only interested in drinking". listen to what blitz is saying. he starts off the apology by saying apologies are "for p*****". that's just a bad way to apologize. stolas can see that and that's why he reacting like that. blitz is trying to cushion his ego by couching his apology in excuses- oh, i don't think apologies are necessary, but i'm apologizing to you because *YOU* want one. it's a bad apology. i don't think stolas would've reacted better even if he wasn't drunk.
I don't quite understand what you meant about Stolas saying "When have I ever-". It was said right after he said "I don't look down on you" so I'm not sure in what other/wrong way Blitz could have interpreted that?
22:29 I don't think Stolas's problem is that he is drunk and in the "hate Blizz party mood", I think it's how Blitz is formulating the apology, basically to protect himself he is devaluing the importance of the apology as much as possible, without even realizing Stolas' feelings aswell, I don't think that sober I would listen to that apology, because Stolas, as frontal as he wants to be, also escapes pain, that's why in the previous chapter he cut the conversation so quickly when Blitz didn't understand his feelings and said he had his answer. Also having someone apologize to me with "apologies are for Pu, but it seems like you need one" wouldn't do much to connect me with someone, especially if it's someone who has so much meaning to me, not only hurts, is humiliating yourself, as soon Blitz is truly vulnerable and honest Stolas listened to him and opened up. Never date a taundere people, like " you are an idiot, but I guess you can sit with me" It has to be the bottom of the barrel. I love Stolas and Blitz but both have some growing to do as characters...and I love that to xD, they are so well written....I just maybe imagining things, body language, but in that part where Stolas says "I want to hold you" Blitz grabs the handle of the chair.
which side are you on, blitzø, stolas, or somewhere inbetween?
Both and neither
Both and neither, because both have a point and are wrong at the same time
First time watching the show I was on Blitz’s side bc his behavior makes more sense to me. Now I just want them both to go to couple’s therapy
The season isn't over yet so for now so I'm conflicted.
Stolas was my number 1 favorite character until the full moon and apology tour, but now I'm "on Blitzø's side", but they both have flaws obviously
stolas is not "being an absolute drunken idiot in the back" he is being protective lookout watching blitz' back as he escorts him somewhere safe

I mean, you're literally only listing things Stolas cant know about, so that negates your point

With cuddling eachother close
Those lines they both have under their eyes really did feel like tears this whole episode didnt they
