The amount of work you put into this animatic really shows! It’s fully coloured and shaded and on top of that the way you symbolise Saiki’s conflict with his God-like abilities is a visually creative treat! (I especially love the “they give so much to me” part!)
This song is about wanting to be adored and admired but as a result losing touch with reality. Everyone loves you, but now you're untouchable, out of touch with reality and progressively more confused with who you are really as you constantly put on a facade whilst seeking affection. It's about losing touch with reality and getting worse and worse until you want to die if it will make you more liked and admired. All the same, you still view yourself as superior, still think that if you did die, you'd go to heaven, still think that you're as great as people say you are even though you know that's a facade. Knowing that the version of you that everyone likes is a facade leads to craving approval again to feel better about yourself. A vicious cycle. I'm not sure if that fits Saiki, per say, but parts of it are true, or similar. He is often referred to as being godlike and he believes that too. He still lives based on the opinions of others, only he craves to be seen as normal rather than extraordinary. So I guess it fits most of it. Either way, the art was seriously AMAZING, like holy wow

@softhalo7133 hi!!! I use the paid version of flipaclip for all my animatics! I do a majority of my drawings outside of the program on sketchbook pro or krita though! Im really glad u and others were able to get the feelings i wanted 2 convey in the animatic 🥺🥺🙏 like an overwhelming sense of dread and tightness that just surrounds him constantly because of his powers 😭

Like so many story points get brushed off pretty quickly in the anime and it's so cool seeing so many people create more for the story. And yea you definitely conveyed the dread and tightness really well. It's like he has to be careful if every step and move he makes and all the attention everyone is giving him just makes it worse and even if he tries to tell them not to they won't leave him
