I own one. Solid 2nd tier. I started w a Radclo, then this, then a ZLL SG107MAX. Have been happy with each because they're all different levels. I have a DJI FPV unopened under my bed. Once I learn how to actually get good at this, I'll break it out. But that's gonna be a while. But like I said, this one, the Attop, is a pretty durable brushed drone. I like to add a thin slice of gorilla tape on the arms and one really small one to ensure the battery stays in if I crash. The controller is just like a PS or XBOX controller. As soon as I put it in my hands, I wondered why every controller isn't similar. The trims are a lil wonky, but I think that's my not doing it correctly. One touch take off and landing are near perfect. The circle motion works really well.... but still not sure why I would use it. This is a good beginner drone for the $ and it has proved to be quite durable. 7.5/10. Worth buying for someone who is starting out or even a step-up. It does have 3 speeds! Which are all programmed well. Buy qnd enjoy!!
Well said… summarizes the drone well. You’re not getting a DJI when your buying this drone, but it’s excellent practice before taking on an expensive drone. I was definitely impressed by this little drone.
Great practice beginner drone. If crashed and burned the buyer isn't out much money. Spent hours doing figure 8ths forward and reverse until I no longer had to think about what I wanted my hands to do to get the drone to fly where I wanted it to. Kinda like learning to type. The hands know. I learned on something very similar. Then sold it for almost the same price after 4 months.
The right way of going about it. Mine was Hubsan H107C; did the exact thing as you describe. After that I built my first FPV right around the same time the Phantom 3 Pro came out and have been cinema ever since. That being said I definitely believe this is a fantastic beginner drone and flies really well.

It’s a process for sure, but a great beginner drone none-the-less. When you get it in the air preferably indoors but somewhere with a lot of room like an empty garage; immediately adjust those trim buttons. It’s never going be perfectly still, but can get pretty close. From there it’s just practicing until proficient. Go forward then back until that feels comfortable. Then try going track style in an oval.
The first time I used the x-pack 18, the drone took off and flew away, the drone didn’t follow the RC commend at all, I just saw my drone getting higher and higher and flying away, now I just have 2 batteries and a remote control left, I have. mavic mini DJI, cheap drone it’s a waste of money! Good drones out there for over $600 plus
Im surprised how tough it is. My first drone. I need a lot more practice. Ive crashed it into the house once and into the trees several times. Nothing has broken yet 😆

I got one for Christmas and it’s the first drone I have ever had. I’m trying to learn how to fly it and getting confused a lot

My x-pack-18 did the same thing, kept going higher, farther away and not following return to home. Didn't even wave by goodbye. 😪
