Absolutely brilliant video man, thank you! I really like how you're giving game plans instead of detailed move orders (as many opening tutorials do), this is so much more helpful!
Thank you for this. Best information on the Nimzo I have found anywhere. I have already had some great games with this defense, but now I am super-excited to play these ideas. You have earned my subscription 👍😁
"Who said that I can't play Qh4?" 😂 Thanks for this e3 lines with the rook lift. I never imagined this way of playing Nimzo. I always take on c3 whenever I have the chance followed by typical Ba6 and Na5 set-ups. I never thought the Bb7 lines would be deadly. Thanks!
WOW! This was truly one of the GREATEST opening videos I have EVER seen! Absolutely fantastic explanations and by understanding the ideas, it is much easier to find good moves OTB! This was EXACTLY what I was looking for! A quick overview over the opening and the main ideas to get the gist of the opening! I'm very happy and I think I'll play e6 in my tomorrows classical game to surprise my opponent (I usually play the Grünfeld, but he's known for his strong preparation and I'm sure he has found some tricky line against me tomorrow - I'm not having that).
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial He played 3. g3 😤 We mutually evaded our preparations 😂. I transposed into the Benoni and won in 17 moves against a higher-rated expert-level player with Black 🎉🎉
Hvala ti majstore, puno hvala! Do sad sam igrao daminu indijku protiv daminog gambita i to mi je dosadno zakopavanje bez kombinacija, bar kako ja loše igram. Nimzo-Dutch je dinamična igra puna taktike!
After having great success in my games with your video about how to deal with the grand prix attack, I'm here to have another great class about this opening. Thanks for the video!
Very interesting and tactical sequences especially against the Samisch. And OMG. That havoc that is wreaked tactically after the rook lift is insame. Seems like there’s no obvious way to avoid checkmate for white once the rook goes into the air! Mind blown Mio. Thanks for the great stuff. I’m a student and have limited resources. Maybe in the future m, I would like to be a sub and a patron. One day.
Now there are many people who do chess courses ad tutorials who are just wasting our time and do know what they are saying even GMs but you are part of the rare few whom ChessBase should just allow to do all the courses. I think you should be a GM Sir plus a Senior FIDE trainer
At some point, Mio unleased a barrage of arrows simulating attacking Indians on general Custer's 7 Cav. at the "Battle of the Little Bighorn", & that arrow-extravaganza would most likely have crashed the budget of the Hollywood movie Troy. Ohhh... Nimzo I N D I A N... it is slowly sinking in... WOW this is really deep! :)))) And by the way, great show of subliminaleties, as always Mio. Man, sometimes I envy myself for watching your videos.
This video was great then I got to the last 3 minutes 🤯. The last few minutes were crazy. I can't believe how many lines you saw. I'm going to have to watch it a few times to absorb all the fantastic moves. 🥰
After Nf3, you also can opt for a line in the Benoni that does not have to face the scary four pawns attack. Psychologically, many Nimzo players might prefer the Benoni to more passive defenses such as Queen's Gambit and especially Queen's Indian when White avoids the Nimzo.
Thank you for providing such nice quick opening repertoire, 19:22 just to mention that Rxh3 and black lose its advantage from -4.3 to -0.2; better is Bxg2.
For sure a difficult opening..i have studied too much..my real problem is grunfeld defence when i play white.. ..thank you for valuable advises anyway.you are great..😎. Please sometime make a video..for grunfeld...thank you mio....
im from philippines idol nice video idol pls give all posibility variation in nimzo indian.my idol master how about part 2 3 and 4 just like your video ,how to destoyed phiidor defense...
Also, Levy Rozman in an OTB tournament went for a line recently where he played 3.Bb4+ anyway after Nf3 but thats an obscure line that follows with 4.Bd2 Qe7
I absolutely enjoyed this and needed this for my nimzo opening. I was wondering if you could do a nimzo main line where white plays the e3 and Nge2 line? I didn't see that one in the video and i run into that quite a bit lol. Btw... thanks to your videos i have back to back wins against a 2000 rated bot with your French main line courses. So thank you again so much..i feel like you're my teacher and appreciate your knowledge and time.
Looks like the best intro to Nimzo-Indian on YT. You definitely know how to teach.
Thanks 🙏
Thanks for illustrating the sweet tactics in the Nimzo-Dutch Kingside attack.
The most underrated lecture of Nimzo-indian in the internet.
You are a great tactician. You make things seem so easy, and you make us want to play the lines with your enthusiasm!
Thanks David, nice to hear such words! 👍

And I thought the Nimzo was boring! Great video.
And you were obviously wrong 🤭
Nimzo is tactical, imbalanced and a theoretical battle of chess schools of thought. How on earth could you think it’s boring?
Great fun!! Love those Nimzo-Dutch ideas! Thanks Mio!
Cheers Stephen! 👍

These steps videos are so awesome. Thank you, Mio. I would love to see a Queen's Indian, so we know how to deal with 3.Nf3.
Will come soon!
I booked up on the Bogo Indian just in case i meet Nf3
I've been waiting for this video on the Nimzo for a long time! Great stuff, Mio! Now, the QID! ;)

so far I thought Nimzo Indian is a positional opening. now I understood that an attacking player will make an attack even from vacuum-Ratheesh
very nice

c5 and into a Benoni where you won't face the f4 variations ....
@@tator9798 Yes, that's the Bogo-Indian, after Bogolubov.
@@timwheeler8523 Exactly! Nimzo players are looking for a fighting defence regardless of White's 3rd move.

5:55 what if he push d5
17:25 6:04
If they play d4... the wave with your hand. The most Balkan gesture to show that something went to sh*t 🤣
after 4.Qc2 O-O 5.a3 Bxc3 6. bxc3!! I cannot stop e4

I will move queen to a4 instead of c2
so strong line for Black!!!! shouldn't be IM Mio, GM Mio would be a better title!!
