I saw the movie because of the title, and it turned out to be the most affecting film I have seen in a few years. I don't know what to make of it but the experience was amazing. Superb acting all the way around.

I love how Florence was the most up beat person there, I haven’t seen the movie yet but I’m very excited to.

Yeah.... because her character was one of the most despicable that I've ever seen on film. That the woman says that she fell in love with this character was deeply disturbing, to me.

Such an amazing film. I was still thinking about it weeks later. The sadness of it all was incredibly affecting. The intensity of Sebastian and Catherine's relationship and it's break down was so tragic.

"Fell in love with her" character...
That's one hell of a perspective that could only (mostly) come from a privileged few.
The acting was incredible, of course.... that said, NEVER did I fall in love with this character that has to ve one of the more Despicable that I've ever seen on screen.
      Holy sheit.

I thought Florence Pugh made a much stronger impression in The Falling. Naomi Ackie and the boy who played Teddy were the highlights of the film for me.

I'm always amazed at how inarticulate actors can be when asked to elucidate aspects of their work. Cosmo Jarvis here seems barely able to string a sentence together - perhaps he was nervous, but again - hasn't he been schooled in performing in front of people? "I like dialogue" he says, when discussing a film which has barely any. Odd. The writer and director are more on the ball.

@@daniellehotsky1776 Ok, but why in that case have him participate in a Q+A? I think the audience deserves some sort of engagement with the nuts and bolts of the film from its creators at these occasions.
