4:21 this what exactly happened with me 6months ago , as i am into bodybuilding type fitness since 1.5 yrs now i can easily slide a 100kgs deadlift (PR). During my college sports while i was playing cricket and fielding i was supposed to throw the ball towards the bowler as i threw the ball with my full potential but the ball didnt last a 2sec airtime reached the bowler with a single bounch.😮💨

The so called "explosive power' is nothing but training the nervous system to use the muscular system to achieve the movements explosively through coordination. It is the art of mastering the compound movements. In pure bodybuilding you target one muscle group at a time. For athletics all muscle groups have to be trained to fire simultaneously in a coordinated way to achieve the movement. Timing is the key aspect. So you are training the nervous system more than you are training the muscle in such routines. This is possible only when you have the optimum balance in your muscle groups. Excess muscle is a hindrance to achieve that kind of ordination. Timing goes out of wack. Because more muscle means slower response time.

Depends on your goals. Bodybuilding workout should only be done if you want to build muscle. But if you want to achieve functional strength and power without looking too bulky, explosive training is best.

Sir, I don't mean to critique but your kettlebell swing form is bit off. Can be dangerous for lower back. Should have brought in a kettlebell expert to explain properly. But great to find out people are taking interest in weighlifting movements. Lot more beneficial than bodybuiliding movements.

For example, agar bicep curl kar raha hoon, to reps jaldi jaldi maarna sahi rahega na. Also mere paas barbell nahin hai, toh can I substitute with burst like push-ups.
Sir jo martial artist hote hai unka body pe pura control hota, which I don’t get from gym workout. Wo body control kaise laya jae. Please do make a vedio on this I highly recommend 😊
Bro there was no explosion in your Snatch as well as in your clean , you did a push jerk and you called it clean. And on top of that the kettlebell swings was breaking at so many points.
When I was national athelet muly shoulder was more mobile than now, as I stop doing throwing activities my shoulder get injured easily every time I play
Similar training brother. Don't do bodybuilding workout and try to dtay very lean. Too much muscle makes change of direction really slow. I did the mistake of doing bodybuilding training.
