4:21 this what exactly happened with me 6months ago , as i am into bodybuilding type fitness since 1.5 yrs now i can easily slide a 100kgs deadlift (PR). During my college sports while i was playing cricket and fielding i was supposed to throw the ball towards the bowler as i threw the ball with my full potential but the ball didnt last a 2sec airtime reached the bowler with a single bounch.😮💨

Thanks bhaiyya great video. Main bhi cricketer ke liye workout dhoond raha tha. Agar mujhe same cheez dumbell se karna hai toh, burst jaisa movements karke bhi chalega na. For example, agar bicep curl kar raha hoon, to reps jaldi jaldi maarna sahi rahega na. Also mere paas barbell nahin hai, toh can I substitute with burst like push-ups.
I understand that athelete or sportspersons use type 2 fibre and generate force.....so yaha while they are lifting weights then there "Assistant Muscle" are more involved right??? Plz clear this doubt sir.

Depends on your goals. Bodybuilding workout should only be done if you want to build muscle. But if you want to achieve functional strength and power without looking too bulky, explosive training is best.

Similar training brother. Don't do bodybuilding workout and try to dtay very lean. Too much muscle makes change of direction really slow. I did the mistake of doing bodybuilding training.
Really good informative video. I play Taekwondo professionally, but we can't lift heavy weights. Compare to that we are fast enough, and stamina is high.
