I wish this video was around 2 years ago. I'm glad I've got it now. World's number 1 chicken winger right here.
Glad you found it! 👍🏼
The left elbow I believe can be bent both on the backswing and at impact. A ramrod straight left arm could lead to a sport injury for amateur golfers. Best Regards
love your videos but was disappointed in my experience with my golf tec lessons. amounted to nothing more than instructor looking at my swing then simply gave me an online video to watch. no hands on to make sure I did the exercises correctly or hands on instruction.
It really depends on the coach you get, some coaches are super hands on, others are as you described.
Love the thought process, but I wish you would have shown us the practice move a couple more times. Thanks

I taught for 35 years. For every bent arm problem I saw I saw ten too rigid and stiff left arms causing all sorts of problems. Some if the best strikers in history had bent left arms. So I'm just not sure about this advice.
I recommend Golf Tec 28 yrs, of playing then finally went to Golf Tec and played the best golf I ever played the very next day
Straight left arm is a total myth.
What makes it a myth? Are you talking in the backswing, impact, or follow-through?
The only place it's relevant is impact because release creates extension. Other than that the left elbow can bend pretty much anywhere without creating inconsistencies or loss of speed. In reality bending the left elbow can create more speed in some instances.
What makes it a myth is that the wrists are FAR more important than the elbows for speed and accuracy. If you release properly you can't physically bend your left elbow too much in the follow through because the momentum won't let you. As far as the backswing. The left elbow can bend at many angles and yo many degrees.
