I'm in a similar situation, on a WHV in Japan just finishing up my winter contract in Hokkaido and going volunteering around. I wonder though, do you register all these new addresses at the city hall each time you volunteer somewhere else? I've been told that I'd need a proper permanent address and they can't put a hostel's one on the card. So after you got the moving out papers what did you do with them next?
hii, ah thanks so much. So I think you should be registering your address in each place but I've been a bit slack and never did it aha. I just have one in Hokkaido.
