Smelled this 2 days ago and now I'm proud to say I own 3 bottles.
Dear Joy vai, love your reviews. Im one of your Bangladeshi folks writing all the way from Doha. Just got this one after your review. It definitely makes sense now when you said that you need to love the smell of rose in order to like this perfume! Im inclined to like it but I guess I need to spend some time with this fragrance when the weather cools down a little bit. It also makes sense when you said “cutting through the cold”. Definitely a cold weather fragrance. Keep up the good work vai. All the best and wishes from Doha.

Hey buddy and to everyone else reading this: I was insanely eager to get this fragrance in Germany and you cannot imagine what I had to get through to get it two months ago. I googled so much and watched all the reviews on UA-cam. When I finally got my bottle and my nose on it, I was utterly disappointed. This smells like soap! I repeat: it smells like soap! Really really harsh oud and definitely - I repeat - definitely not suited for Western standards. There is a reason for it being a middle eastern exclusive. I hope this is good advice for everyone who gets caught by all the positive ratings. Kind regards from Cologne, Germany
i second this. i purchased my bottle some time ago when it was still available on notino and i found the scent to be almost unwearable. Pungent oud & rose smell that just doesn't seem to fit into my region of the world. The quality however is good and the performance nuclear, yet i have to advise to tread carefully and to sample before buying. Thanks for the review. Greetings from Austria
This is a classic Rose-Oud ; it's good in any culture - you obviously should know what Rose/Oud combo smells like before you buy a 100$ bottle of perfume...
(Rose/Oud: dosn't smell like soap lol, many hand soaps use rose, but that dosn't mean rose smells like soap - more, some soaps smells like rose.)
I bought Tom Ford noir de noir and I love it so much that I decided to go for another rose Scent so I bought black to black but you are RIGHT this is soooooooooo soapy that I’m actually regretting buying it.
I just got me a bottle sprayed 6 times on me and lawdy. I’m going to need another bottle. Got it on eBay from Dubai!

Due to Scentrifical Force's extreme adoration for Black to Black I purchased this frag last year. I do enjoy this rosey saffron leather monster very much. Perfect for night time and cold. Wonderful, Joy, to see your review on this under-reported gem! I have not worn it recently, and as Douro has vanished from my skin an hour later, I will give this a spray and smell awesome while listening to your review! Ah, yes, it's very heavy and dark - even gothic. As Joy says, this will beat out any other guys frags in a room with no problem. Of all of Mancera's offerings, I do love Aoud Vanille more.

Bro i bought this on ur review..... The fact is it dosent project more thn 2 hours...looking at this hype n ur review i bought this for 8500 which i was not geting easily... The bottle is original but i cant smell on more thn 2 hours nor anyone can notice this... 😔
If it was a magnetic cap bottle, you can't blame Joi, Mancera fragrances have been reformulated to be weaker and put in a magnetic cap bottle.

no, its not, it is still in production, in the video joy explains that it was just distributed to dubai, but nowadays you can find it in other countries maybe.
for the record, I received mine yesterday and I can say that it is number one in my collection at the moment, got many unexpected compliments, so many that I can not believe today the reactions I experienced yesterday when I used it.

Unfortunately, this is 90% beastly soapy rose with saffron and maybe some leather. There's virtually no oud here. For all of you looking to purchase this, make sure to sample it first.
Is this anything close to MFK Oud Satin Mood?
Not even close. Nothing is like Satin Mood. The closest thing is Armani prive rose d'arabie

Hello joy, I recently got this juice and feel disappointed. I was expecting a beast mode frag but nah.Don't know if it's a fake or a reformulated one. It's a screw cap but batch code showed it was made in 2020. Thought from 2020 is the magnetic cap? And again I think I noticed the tiniest of particle in the juice, maybe my mind is playing tricks on me 😂. Very underwhelming frag.

This was love at first sniff for me when I smelled it in the Notino shop here in Bucharest. Beast projection, beast longevity, great mature scent - all attributes of this fragrance.
