Dimitrov vs Tsitsipas - Boodles Challenge 2018 Highlights

Highlights of the first ever match between Grigor Dimitrov and Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Bulgarian had his best season in 2017, he won the Cincinnati masters and the ATP World Tour Finals, he reached the Australian Open semifinal where he almost beat Rafael Nadal. Grigor also rose to No. 3 in the rankings and won 4 titles in total that year. In 2023-2024 Dimitrov is making a resurgence, he's reached the top 10 of the rankings again, reached two ATP1000 Masters finals (Paris and Miami where he lost to Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner respectively) and he's been beating today's best players in the world - Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Tsitsipas.
2018 was young Tsitsipas's first good year on the tennis tour, he won 2 titles. As of July 2024 he's won 12 titles, 5 of which on clay (3 in Monte Carlo), the grass court still remains his worst surface. Grigor (8 years older than the greek) has won 9 titles in comparison.
