Testaments from stoicism uplift inner battles and yield a reclamation of life by getting sagacity. The world is not your greatest obstacle; your mind is, the Stoics believed. They teach us that our inner critic is not something, but it is so self-critical, the same as our self-doubts and uncontrollable feelings. These could be the inhibitors to the peace, strength, and happiness that you are seeking fatally.
The teachings of Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, were that cultivating the soul, in belief, is obtaining genuine freedom, and this is how they shaped their strongest guides in showing how the burstiness contradicts that serenity. In self-discipline, in the exercise of reason, in the concentration upon those things, and in the attention paid simply to what is controllable and what is not, they would reach solidity of peace.
Anger, worry, doubt-as all delusions-are taken in by some other thoughts; the notions then create destiny. Your attitude saves you from these deception through whatever else you come up with.
True courage, patience, wisdom, whether storms hit mercilessly, whether harsh trials test the character, silently and tirelessly repeat such training: anger chases us hurriedly away from ourselves. Practice mindful living, keep a journal, and reflect daily to strengthen your mind. For remember: the problem is not the situation, but the response to it is.
Apply those old Stoic truths in order to vanquish all those inner problems while living with integrity, transparency. Services of the oldest principles speaking aloud-speak these from their deep struggles, if you really want to walk. Control your feelings before they control you. Leave a drawer empty and make stars. Stomp out the hour in the middle of your life.
