Infact the DEC H744 and other similar plugin module PSU are switching PSUs. Not linear as indicated in this video. The efficiency is far better than 15%. Albeit the exact screw mount capacitors are harder to find these days other, similar speced capacitors, can be found. An adapter board can be built to employ non screw mount capacitors. While repairing a number of these supplies I have found very few of these capacitors that measure bad (Capacitance and ESR). Rectifier bridges and switch transistor do fail on the other hand.
