Without choice there is no point, you can choose God, His love and graciousness, forgiveness, mercy, grace, etc.. Or you can choose the world, and all that it represents. God loves you enough to allow you to walk away from Him. But like any parent would do there are consequences, and that consequence is eternal

Not you,me, loved ones, prison or communitys. I can think somehting wrong all I want but in the end, it ether God is right or there are no morals. I spent years thinking about this and it alway came to the same thing. I can say people feel bad, well they wont remember feeling bad. Sure if you think it's hateful to point out when others are saying/doing things that are sick. When I see someone lying I point it out. Does that make me hateful? When I see someone accepting the suffering of another person to aswage their own guilt and I point it out, does that make me hateful? Yes I suppose I do hate that people skip out on responsability for their own actions and let others take the blame for their own failings.

Adam and Eve hadn't eaten from the "tree of knowledge of good and evil". So they had no concept that what they were doing was wrong, by design I might add.
The song is about "scape-goating." This is the perfect place for comments about that subject. And yes "scape-goating" is morally sick. There is a reason that the religion that invented it (Judaism) stopped practicing it.

Jesus TOOK our punishment because we could not. We say our sins are unbearable, not as a euphemism, but an actuality. We are not strong enough to stand under their weight. Because He was without sin, He could be the sacrifice without blemish, and die (God turned from Jesus when our sins filled Him) so we could live (be in the Presence)forever. It is like carrying something too heavy for your child because s/he cannot. We learn to be better parents by His example, not worse.
Off topic, my bad. Cross over from another conversation. My point was that according to your bible he had no problem killing freewill in the past. He showed himself repeatedly and in so doing destroyed the freewill of those present. So he has no problem removing freewill when it serves his purposes, in order for your argument to be valid you would have to be saying that god wants people NOT to believe in him. Which contradicts the bible again since it claims that he wants us all to know him.
Well if you believe the bible then I have the same right as you do, as well as the same right that god does. Genesis 3:22 We have become like gods in knowing good from evil. But seeing as how I don't believe the bible, I have the same right and reasons that you do for making the same kinds of judgments. That is that I have a measure of compassion for my fellow humans and apply it freely.

Sure. I want for people to stop thinking that they are born evil, I desire for people to stop accepting the gruesome torture of one person for the forgivness of their crimes, I feel that if you do something wrong that it is a bad thing to accept the sacrifice of another for your mistakes. I think those things are wrong and I say so. If you get offended because you are doing these things that I think are wrong then maybe you should stop doing them.
Can you think of no other consiquences, besides divine ones, that might guide you towards good behavior? Like upsetting your loved ones, going to prison, being shamed by the community..etc. There are plenty of reasons to treat other people good and plenty of reasons to treat people poorly that don't involve divine retribution. God made sin in the first place. It was part of the divine plan since before he even said let there be light. So sin and evil were planned on and created by the god of the bible (if you believe it's stories). Which means people were not responsible for it. Then god makes a loophole where he can forgive us for being created wrong, by killing himself to pay for our crimes that he made us do in the first place. And you don't see how ridiculous that is?

Clearly you've never read the bible for yourself. It contains THOUSANDS of contradictions and hundreds of outright wrong data points. It gets the value for "Pi" wrong. It claims in two different books that Judas returned the 30 silver and in another claims that he kept it. The stories don't agree on the order of events or even the color of Jesus clothing. Let alone the the fact that in 3 places god gives people visions of a FLAT Earth. There is so much wrong in the bible it can't fit all here.

Jesus TOOK our punishment because we could not. We say our sins are unbearable, not as a euphemism, but an actuality. We are not strong enough to stand under their weight. Because He was without sin, He could be the sacrifice without blemish, and die (God turned from Jesus when our sins filled Him) so we could live (be in the Presence)forever. It is like carrying something too heavy for your child because s/he cannot. We learn to be better parents by His example, not worse.

My point was that according to your bible he had no problem killing freewill in the past. He showed himself repeatedly and in so doing destroyed the freewill of those present.
So he has no problem removing freewill when it serves his purposes, in order for your argument to be valid you would have to be saying that god wants people NOT to believe in him. Which contradicts the bible again since it claims that he wants us all to know him.

God made sin in the first place. It was part of the divine plan since before he even said let there be light. So sin and evil were planned on and created by the god of the bible (if you believe it's stories). Which means people were not responsible for it.
