So far one of the best video on PI planning preparation! Under 15 min Sir you have explained what 2 days of extensive SAFe certification course could not cover.
All the best for your SAFe Learning, we made these videos because we realized professionals are many time not getting clear view of SAFe in certification classes. Thank you for your comment.
More than this no can explain humam understanding language ,after my safe classes i am learing from you to be honest 😊 i found its content is much more valuable than any resource ❤thank you so much 🙏
Your video is great full of deep information in short time. Just one suggestion, When you are give information with that can you put notes in corner or PPt with that so we can get notes also. Thanks!!
Excellent Video.. Very informative. I have a few questions. 1. When the Business Owner, Product Management & Product Owner picks the Features from the FUNNEL to ANALYSING stage. On what basis did they choose the feature to move particular features? 2. In ANALYSING STAGE: During the Benefit Hypothesis process, BO, PM, SA & PO size the feature if it fits in one single PI or not? On what basis do they do the sizing. I mean, how are they going to decide whether a particular feature fits in one PI? 3. In ANALYSING STAGE: You mentioned Estimating features, this can be done in T-Shirt sizing? Example: If the Feature is too big we assign XXL and if the feature is moderately complex it is M ? it works that way ?? 4. I don't see RTE involvement anywhere in the Continuous exploration area?
The PM should facilitate have clear policy for movement of items on Kanban Board, mean as an PM with BOs they need to find our Policy to decide what comes next in the sequence from funnel to analysis, it can be high level business value based priority or can have more. SA and PO are expected to do estimation of direct feature based on what understand, and it can be done in story points or some other mean to see does this fits in PI, it can sometime go wrong and we may need to do adjustment during PI Planning meeting.
@@mahi23 This is the link , www.scaledagileframework.com/program-and-solution-backlogs/ The advice is not explicit in this link but if you attend Scaled Agile program like Leading SAFe or SAFe PO PM you get in education slides this advice more clearly
The video 7 of this series talks about the roles and PI planning. you can follow the links when you reach towards the end. Also links are available in description of the video
I also have questions about what exactly the System teams, and Architect's role in Pre-PI & PI meetings? Can you please explain in detail? I have seen some articles on the internet but couldn't understand them.
The Role of System Team and Architect varies based on maturity of ART, the more work done by Team for system integration and architecture the better it is. So i think that is the reason difficult to find specific information. If integration is managed by teams system team plays hardly any role and you may not have it. So this is totally depends.

Hi sir, could you please do the same thing for scrum framework as well.
Thank you, I have a question, who all should participate in program backlog refinement sessions
From SAFe recommendation is Product Management (PM) , Business Owners (BOs), System Architect (SA) and Product Owners (POs)
@@izenbridge thanks for prompt reply, is there a link on SAFe portal I can find this recommendation, I searched and couldn’t locate
