The last time I visited Busch Gardens was 2011. I remember that the Skyride was one the longest I’ve ever been on before. It’s just so cool and unique how you have that turnabout, half way through the ride. Turned out to be one of my favorite rides there. It’s great to see it back up and running fresh again. It looks really good for being 50 years young! If you go back this year during Mardi Gras, be sure and try that Hurricane drink. You won’t regret it!!! Yes, it’s super sad to lose Carl. RIP Apollo.

I was shocked as well jay when I heard the news of Carl was glad that you were able to meet him awhile back only God knows the time or hour that we have so live for today and be thankful each day we have thanks again for your blogs hopefully one day I see you down the road my friend take care.

Thanks Jay. This channel is great. It was sad to hear about Carl Weathers. The 1st celebrity in a long time that hit hard. Being a guy born in '73 Rocky was one of the 1st movies I remember watching as a child. (Rocky, Star Wars, Raiders, etc) Thoughts and prayers to his family and all his fans and co-workers.

Busch gardens tampa is my favorite and we had one of our best visits in November last year but definitely wouldn't pay to ride the sky ride..

I miss the skyride at Busch Gardens Tampa. I haven't rode on it in like 20 years. I have pictures of riding it way back in the 80s. Many good memories.

I havent been on the skyride since the early 00's. Was really awesome ont the skyride going over the former RhinoRally. The skyride used to be open after dark also. Remember riding it during the first year or Howl O Scream. One time at the park i remembered people getting stuck on it during a rain storm. But $5 now for non pass holders? Also its been down for 4 years at least they could have repainted the cars.

Man - i’m a couple weeks late! I went to Busch Gardens for the first time with a work event in mid January, literally nothing was running, maybe two rides, not that I can ride much there anyway 🎢😬😱🤷🏼♀️ But I enjoyed the Mardi Gras parade (it was the 1st day), and the bird exhibits - else it was definitely a one and done for me, although the sky buckets look scary - but nostalgic!
Have not been to Busch gardens in ages so much more to do and lots more rides loved the Mardi Gras experience and the food and drink very sad to hear about Carl Passing away RIP to another legend of the big screen

You might have met my husband at the turnstiles, Jay. Little white-haired Jewish man with a white hat. He trained on the Serengeti Flyer in the fall, and he moved to the turnstiles in January; his favorite part of the job is meeting people, so this is right up his alley and he's having a blast now. (Edit: his name is Brian.)
Last time I rode the skybuckets was in 1980. Can't wait to get back on them again, it's one of the few things at BG with no old-people restrictions! How cool is all that Mardi Gras food and decorations, I loved the giant fleur de lis.

I was able to go to BGT this past November for the first time. It was great, I loved it. I hope to go back soon. I plan on going to Mardi Gras at BGW.

We are pissed they are making us pay for a ride, that was free before. We will not go on until its free. What a trash decision by cooperate. Hopefully they lose money. Trash company. I'll stick to the train, which we'll probably have to pay sooner or later.

If you’ve never worked in an amusement park before you have no idea that their food is fucking disgusting😆 Busch Gardens has chicken tenders and really bad pizza. That’s all they have as an former employee I’m telling you that that is literally all that they have.

Even when Busch Entertainment owned the park they seem to always neglect a park that gets great attendance. Even when Busch Entertainment sold the parks and developed a separate company, i feel they still neglect this money maker of a park. There prime parks who ever owns the parks will be Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Williamsburg there great parks but its just strange? Plus they are buliding hotels at sea world and will have a shuttle to Busch Gardens.
Been a pass member for many years. Can't believe they are charging non members. What a shakedown. Busch does not have the class it once did. Now its all about how much money you spend. Nothing more.
