This is so much better than I imagined, it's perfect! I love how you portrayed both Elizabeths with red hair. The are usually shown as blondes, but the only portrait left of Elizabeth of York has red hair and it's suspected that the Tudors got their red hair from the Woodvilles. And I love Daniel as Edward and Synnove as Anne!
My favorite book is the Sunne in Splendor which made me love the relationship between Richard & Anne. I hated what Phillipa Gregory wrote about them. She based the affair off of one letter by EOY that was found and is now mysteriously missing
@@QueenofTromwellIt's believed that the letter was doctored. There is an earlier damaged version that doesn't imply anything, it's just a letter asking for Richard to be persuaded to treat her well.
This was perfect! I loved all three time periods you showed! I really think Jacob is a perfect Henry II (thought that already since seeing your first video about Henry & Eleanor) and his pairing with Lena was something surprising yet so made to happen it just blew my mind away. Daniel is a wonderful Edward IV ... and you kept Aneurin, who is probably the only real Richard III I'll ever accept anywhere (big yet unapologetic smile to all Benedict fans, he wasn't so good in Hollow Crown)
I was so worried about Lena but she fits Eleanor so well that it makes me wonder if she was a huge inspiration for GRRM's Cersei. I'm so glad you liked them. I agree that he is the only Richard for me and James Frain as Warwark was perfection!
Eleanor was older than Henry, so it fits - she was stylish, fierce (she persuaded her first husband to take her on crusade), cultured (she was Provençal & regarded as a bit ‘scandalous’ by the staid & overly pious Parisian Court), somewhat arrogant & incredibly passionate. She was rumoured to have had affairs with her estranged uncle while in the Holy Land, & possibly even her 2nd future father-in-law (even if the rumours were _only_ scurrilous gossip, it still makes for a fascinating read). Despite how much she butted heads with her two husbands over the years, she still had like 10 kids with them- even raising one of their bastards - she was trusted enough by Richard & John to serve regent-like roles, & handle negotiations in both peace & war... & she lived to the great age of 80- outliving both husbands, & several of her children & even grandchildren.
@MaryHaleyKelly Richard III has got to be my least favourite ‘tragic’ Shakespeare play- & I’m including the Tarentino-like gore-fest of Titus Andronicus, here - it felt like an unfunny parody; I don’t think any actors could have saved it, in my view- I watched the whole Hollow Crown series, & it was definitely weakest of them; Benedict is a great, transformative actor, but the role was terrible- I saw the trailer for the Ian MacKellan one a long while ago, & I’d be willing to watch the movie, but it is not a good play in my view, or perhaps just simply not a good characterisation.
i am in awe??? this entire thing is absolutely gorgeous and epic, like you just made an entire tv show in four minutes. starz ain't got nothin on this video. i absolutely loved this video, and of course your editing with history is always amazing. i remember watching your house of valois video a while back, and it was one of my absolute favorites. synnove as anne neville is perfect and i loved that you kept aneurin as richard. aneurin's portrayal of richard is by far my favorite from all of the starz shows, with james frain as a very close second [cuz i love james frain with my whole heart ever since the tudors]. anyways this video is beautiful and i hope you make more involving history in the future ;)
Thank you, hun! This means so much to me. I hope to make more, I want to do a vid on the Cousin's War because I have more scenes that I didn't have room for.
WHOA THIS WAS AMAZING!!!! WELL DONE!!! an amazing storyline you have created with all these houses I LOVED the casting of Sophie Turner as Elizabeth of York well done!!
QueenofTromwell there are so many fascinating things about this family that really details how complicated power, leadership, and family affairs were in the Middle Ages. 300 + years of holding the trone and ruling England 🏴 is pretty impressive, considering all the trouble that each generation had to deal with... 🌼 I love your videos, great channel!
OMG! I am so happy I watched it 😍 This perfect and I cannot imagine, how much time you devoted to made this! Scene to scene, everything matches to each other. And see Daniel as a Edward 😂 Well, I have to say you are in my mind a little. Well done!
That's a masterpiece ! Truly epic and perfect. The cast is wonderful, you chose well. And once again, the song fits pretty good with the vid. How do you manage to do such beautiful things every time ?
Honestly I feel like it doesn't matter what I tell you because it won't be enough to explain the beauty of this video!!!!!!! The fancast is just amazing, you have a special talent for this because you always find the perfect people for the characters. I loved that you chose Jennie for Isabella, she transmits the character's power and strenght, also I'm so happy that you kept Aneurin as Richard, the whole original cast of The White Queen was amazing in their roles but Aneurin couldn't be more perfect. I'm especially surprised about your cast for that period, it's amazing in my opinion. The editing is stunning and this is something that I always say to you but it's just the truth. You always manage to show the stories so well and also capture the characters' reality. All this adding up to amazing song so the result is always sublime! Congratulations on another masterpiece dear 💗
I dare you to make edit of House of Stuart and House of Trastámara 😂❤🎉👏

Yes! They were all so perfect! I have more scenes that didn't fit so I'm thinking of a more centic Cousin's War vid may be next
@@QueenofTromwell that would be amazing! The Cousin's War is my favorite period!
Perfect as always i must say that my favorite thing about this is that there is no whole "Richard cheated on Anne with Lizzie'' bullshit

Aneurin Barnard still stay to be Richard III 😅👏
This is litteraly a perfet cast. Thank you for this amazing video. (By the way Sophie Turner would really make a perfect Elizabeth of York).
Thank you! ❤
