Its not like 20 years ago when most teams in Europe had 1 or 2 quality players. Now teams are getting rinced for unproven bang average youth players and hope they have potential.
Because they think that because they play for Manchester United they just have to turn up. The whole thing needs to be dismantled, they need to get relegated, they need to produce young hungry players who are not arrogant but are selfless and will give everything to their team.
Bruno Fernandes is part of the problem not the solution. I supported United from 1963 to the day Mourinho was appointed. Glazers lack of football knowledge is the root cause. I've faith that Amorim is a good appointment but it will take 3 summer windows to sort the problem so need to stick with Amorim for long term. Ironic they want 2 wolves players who were facing relegation 2 weeks ago
They pay over a million a week to Casemiro, Rashford, Shaw and Mount They haven’t had a fit left back at the club for over a year The system clearly doesn’t suit some of the players (Bruno, Garnacho have no obvious fit) but a lot of these players have turned on multiple managers in the past. Just have to run some of these contracts down and recruit better going forward
It's nothing to do with coaching. These players are slow in possession of the ball. They have poor control, poor passing, weak mentality. Overall poor quality.
I've always said the players are rotten but the fact is we've now had about seven managers who all had the exact same problems, even when some of the players change. The Glazers and their sportwash-puppets INEOS are the real problem.
The manager not having the right players is the same excuse as with the last manager. He eventually got the players and they still sucked. You will come to find that there is not a single system that will work for any player that dons the Utd shirt with wrong man in charge. The badge is just too heavy. They sold the people with the potential to revive the club and are on the verge of selling another. This philosophy business has dug Utd into a deeper hole. Director of football has killed Utd. Watch them sink even with all their billions
What was incredible about the team that were relegated was they were loved by the fans. So loved that they packed out grounds all over the country. Martin Buchan was an inspiration and was one of the best centre half’s that played for the club. The Sunderland game at Old Trafford was a classic. This team are despised by the fans.
A lot of this squad does not connect. Amad and Hojlund are not compatible. The work rate Hojlund puts in to be getting no service is a joke. Amad is to greedy and needs to stop trying to take every defender on hoping to score when Hojlund has space. The goal from another corner is school boy stuff. Always have a player at the back post.
Amad is soo overrated apart from that City game what else has he done? And the way these United fans rate him is puzzling, goes to show how their standards have dipped soo low they think Amad is their saviour
It probably is a good point that United's training is now a quick session immediately before games. They play so many games there simply isn't time to bond them and make them into a real team. I think they threw the Carabaou Cup just to get breathing space, a tactic that is probably not uncommon.
I thought top managers adapt to the players they have, and use the tools given to them to win games. Surely Amorim saw the squad before he took the job.
He’s been tasked with coming in and overhauling the first team. Only an imbecile would expect him to be able to come into the club in November, without pre-season, no time for training sessions, having to work with an abysmal squad built by Ten Hag, and consistently win games from the start
I don't think amorim will succeed if ineos don't get players out if you have been at the club for more than 2 years you need to leave rashford bruno Harry linderlof dalot shaw casamiro Antony erikson mount all need to be moved on
We've managed to acquire over a decade a totally average, but overpaid, group of players. Do you know when it started? ... Marouane Fellaini. Our first panic buy of a Championship-level player. Since then we've broken the bank to buy more Championship-level players. Maguire is a prime example. £80,000,000 for a big lumbering central defender. The Championship is full of those for £10 million FFS. There must be better players in the Academy. They can't be worse than Anthony. Anthony is literally hopeless.
It's going to be a problem if Man Utd keep trying to slowly rebuild if the incoming players collapse under the weight of expectation...an 'exodus' might be better
The problem with Man united is that many players in the team are not pulling their weight especially the experience players. Many players are collecting money for doing nothing in the team.
Why do Man United fans rate Amad soo highly? Guy has just scored only 2 goals in the league this season, had one good glimpse against City, goes to show how standards have dropped when they rate this one dimensional guy
Mainoo was a standout for England during the WC. Now he looks bang average. If Amad is looking good under these pressures tge boy is serious talent. Ugarte has been very good and Mazaroui has had good moments. The rest...
Here we go narrative starting against the manager! All the managers united have been brilliant ten Haag, van gaal , mourhino these are not rubbish managers it’s THE PLAYERS!
Without Rashford Man United has zero attacking threat apart from Amad. Even when Rashford is out of form, you can still notice his impact on creating spaces because he pulls defenders to himself thus creating spaces for others but now it's all gone. Now everything has to go through Amad making it easier for opponents to defend.
Fans who remember the 26 years from 1967 - 1993 may understand what's happening to United but the younger generation who only remember the winning machine Fergie built will find this hard to accept and what makes this worst is the media who find this heartbreaking.
and yet they sacked ETH. Ruudy had this same team team playing well and winning games and then we wonder why MUFC are in this mess? You reap what you sow.
This is what I've said. Ruud had 4 games and delivered 3 wins and a draw. I think he'd seen their strengths and weaknesses and fitted a system around them. He could have carried on, moved a bit further up the table, rebuilding confidence, and then added some quality. But he wasn't the shiny new thing and was booted out. Now we have a specialised manager with a system only a few of the squad can play. No disrespect to Amorim, but was he the right appointment, given that he seems to have broken their self belief and now needs an entirely new squad of players to play his way. This appointment was the BIGGEST RISK Utd have ever taken, because if he can't change direction it won't be mid-table mediocrity it will be a relegation battle with a team lacking confidence and very little chance of scrapping in the Championship. This will be Death or Glory for Amorim. High stakes poker.
As a Newcastle supporter I haven't been this excited about an away league game for some time. Man United have practically no real midfield right now whilst ours (Tonali- exceptional at 6, Bruno and Joelinton) is seriously impressive. I feel we should dominate in that department and then we have Isak and Gordon to run riot. Could of course be deceptively tough as a game but there's reason to be confident.
WE NEED TO STOP LETTING UNITED BLAME ETH FOR PROBLEMS ITS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE 5 MANAGERS BEFORE HIM IT DONT MAKE SENSE THEY JUST LOOKING FOR A SCAPEGOAT TRYNA USE RASHFORD RIGHT NOW ITS NOT WORKING TRIED TO USE MAGUIRE TRIED TO USE POGBA TRIED TO USE RONALDO AS SCAPEGOATS ITS NOT WORKING .
I'm tired of hearing "we are Manchester United" or "this is Manchester United" as if they have some god given right to be successful. The facts are that aside from 2 managers the rest of the time they've been an average team/club. So in reality it's back to business as usual.
Slow, slow, slow.. In the stands fans are bellowing at the players and especially Onana t get the ball out quicker and play the ball quicker... Onana must be worried about screen time and when the defence has the ball they do not move into space which is why Maguire is pinging long balls and running half the pitch himself..
Calm down folks, it took the Bournemouth manager last season 15 games for the team to get his methods and click and Ruben needs to get players in who can play in the system
I saw this coming after I heard that ten hag was recruiting players based of off of him working with them in the past They are abysmal they have a mid table squad. Unless they have a golden generation we don’t know about they will be in the mud for the next decade
If the team is garbage then why are we still surprised when they lose?! Dont say the same thing after every game when we should start praising the teams that beat them
UTD players (mainly Rashford) are depressed. They’re not physical enough or technical enough to play in this system. Pundits need to stop masking the inabilities of players like Bruno, Garnacho and Hojlund. Add MM to the list. Most have to go.
First player I would get out of that Club, as soon as possible, in January would be Casemiro. I would say it is reasonable to assume that to be the top earner in any team, you need to consistently be the best player in that team, and for £400k a week relative to the industry average, in all probability, the best player on the pitch. You can not be the top earner at any Club and not be good enough to consistently get into the starting XI. You need to get Casemiro out first as his level or remuneration and value added to the team is probably a high contributor as to where most of the toxicity is created in that dressing room. It will cause resentment especially from players starting every game who are on nowhere near the kind of levels of remuneration Casemiro is getting. Ultimately having a contract at Manchester United, like as at any football Club, but especially at a Club as prestigious as Manchester United should be a privilege, not a right. Casemiro when signing his contract should have had reasonable grounds to understand the expectations the Club and fans would expect in return. He would have to lead by example through his abilities and performance to be honouring his side of the bargain to his contract. The fact that he isn't and hasn't for some time means even he should realise his time at the Club has come to an end and he is no longer sticking to his side of the contract. There are two choices, both parties should come to some mutual agreement and settlement in order to get his wages off the annual wage bill and leave next month, even if he is contracted to stay on another 18 months. If on the other hand he feels he shouldn't have to leave and his contract is a right, not privilege, then United should look into sacking him. Ultimately, it is not only immoral to be on that wage and not contributing anything to the team in terms of on the pitch, but it is also unethical. Get Casemiro out of the Club, like they have more or less done with Sancho then you already solve a lot at that club.
Lol so now you want to blame casemiro . .smh wake up FFS he is not the problem , Rashford is not the problem . Look at the rat board who refuse to buy the best players in the world
Refuse to buy best players in the world look at the money that has been spent club needs a big clearout and look at who is being bought look at Liverpool van dyke captain of Holland Salah captain of Egypt Robertson captain of Scotland slobozlai captain of hungry even Endo captain of Japan leaders mentality that's what utd need not big names and egos leaders
Weight of the jersey is absolute rubbish…..Liverpool have signed Mane and Robertson for example from mid/lower table teams. Not one united player gets into any of the top 10 teams starting Xl They spent the most, should have stuck with Ragnick as DOF, they’d be 5 years ahead of where they are now
Amorin wanted to come in the summer and change the system then, he knew he needed training ground time and friendlies to implement his system. Ineos forced him to come in now which was a mistake. However the problem is still the same, players are just not good enough in terms of mentality more so than technical quality. The team are where they belong in the league as a mix of people in the twilight of their careers and younger players who haven't done it in the Premier league.
The players have been running the club since Fergie. They decide on the wage, manager, and when to sack. Whoever allowed these players this sort of power should never work again.

Yeah what has he won……
@dalebrennan7615, are you making a joke, pal?
Basically, every team trophy and all the individual awards he can whilst with Liverpool.
United 8pts away from relegation... history tells us it can happen!
They pay over a million a week to Casemiro, Rashford, Shaw and Mount
They haven’t had a fit left back at the club for over a year
The system clearly doesn’t suit some of the players (Bruno, Garnacho have no obvious fit) but a lot of these players have turned on multiple managers in the past.
The club is cursed
No, Maguire was never consistently elite
The entire club needs to be levelled.
Amorin out! get big sam in to try keep them up
A lot of this squad does not connect.
You got that spot on
You literally described garnacho 🤦
Amad is looking to play someone else in rather than take a shot
It probably is a good point that United's training is now a quick session immediately before games. They play so many games there simply isn't time to bond them and make them into a real team. I think they threw the Carabaou Cup just to get breathing space, a tactic that is probably not uncommon.
If Amad doesnt dribble you will complain, if he dribbles you complain. Fanbase to fickle
If your 14th in the league you are garbage 😂
6:07 It took half the video but we finally got a “this is Manchester United”
I thought top managers adapt to the players they have, and use the tools given to them to win games. Surely Amorim saw the squad before he took the job.
He’s been tasked with coming in and overhauling the first team. Only an imbecile would expect him to be able to come into the club in November, without pre-season, no time for training sessions, having to work with an abysmal squad built by Ten Hag, and consistently win games from the start
players are all millionaires who couldnt give f about the club. you can train all you want you wont change a thing
Love seeing it long may it continue
Troy looking at the situation through a managers eyes 😂
"Absolutely turgid". Best unusual, unexpected word to describe the players I could have ever imagined 😂. 100% correct
I have put a Tenner on United going down as there team have no fight in them
This was very good conversation with the talk sport team on Utd. Honest & little toxicity. Congrats
It's going to be a problem if Man Utd keep trying to slowly rebuild if the incoming players collapse under the weight of expectation...an 'exodus' might be better
It’s obvious now that something is rotten in that dressing room and until that’s sorted it doesn’t matter who they buy
What system? This is one awful coaching 101
Because the other players are even worse
He is one of only a few decent players. Could be good, but we will see
Standards FC
@@da-mazing8500he’s turd
Mainoo was a standout for England during the WC. Now he looks bang average. If Amad is looking good under these pressures tge boy is serious talent. Ugarte has been very good and Mazaroui has had good moments. The rest...
Here we go narrative starting against the manager! All the managers united have been brilliant ten Haag, van gaal , mourhino these are not rubbish managers it’s THE PLAYERS!
Most of the players were good before they signed for deadwood fc.
It's the lack of continuity keep changing managers and playing styles they don't know if they're coming or going
Ten Hag brilliant?? He’s abysmal
@@Draper99 wrong. He was told to play a certain way when he knew they didn't have the players. He even said so himself.
Garnacho when he scored and dissed the fans has killed his confidence
Bruno, Garnacho, Onana and Lisandro make the most mistakes leading to goals conceded. Let’s not just target Onana alone.
and yet they sacked ETH.
You also missed out they rarely come out with the ball in a 50/50 challenge.
Poor "Crooky" - hes gonna have to go back to supporting Chelsea like the rest of the southern prawn sandwich brigade...
Troy Deaney talks more sense than Talksports chief football correspondent
Two English players in that squad yesterday
Calm down folks, it took the Bournemouth manager last season 15 games for the team to get his methods and click and Ruben needs to get players in who can play in the system
Bournemouth haven't spent £600m😮😂😂
I wonder where United will be in 15 games. Maybe the wrong side of a relegation battle.
But the Bournemouth manager didn't inherit a team full of big time Charlies.
I saw this coming after I heard that ten hag was recruiting players based of off of him working with them in the past
They are abysmal they have a mid table squad. Unless they have a golden generation we don’t know about they will be in the mud for the next decade
If the team is garbage then why are we still surprised when they lose?! Dont say the same thing after every game when we should start praising the teams that beat them
Wolves didn't play a back three under Gary O'Neil, he played a back four this season.
Clubs are limited by this ridiculous ffp rule. Manchester United need at least 8 players but can only realistically go out and sign 1
UTD players (mainly Rashford) are depressed. They’re not physical enough or technical enough to play in this system. Pundits need to stop masking the inabilities of players like Bruno, Garnacho and Hojlund. Add MM to the list. Most have to go.
If I remember correctly Arteta took over Arsenal Dec. 19. What a tough time to take over a team in the PL
I am a city fan and I am "friends"with a lot of united fans and believe me none of them said they would win the league..
Casameiro didn’t start last night and we got hammered
Lol so now you want to blame casemiro . .smh wake up FFS he is not the problem , Rashford is not the problem . Look at the rat board who refuse to buy the best players in the world
@r_h3075 💯 the OP is scratching around looking for someone to blame because Rashford didn't play either . Look at the rat trying to save money FFS
@@shanemcdonagh1979 yes utd need to buy the best in the world
I can't see any desire what so ever to win from this utd team ..its abysmal.
These are tge same players that gave Ruud 3 wins and a draw in 4 matches
Weight of the jersey is absolute rubbish…..Liverpool have signed Mane and Robertson for example from mid/lower table teams.
Not one united player gets into any of the top 10 teams starting Xl
They spent the most, should have stuck with Ragnick as DOF, they’d be 5 years ahead of where they are now
Amorin wanted to come in the summer and change the system then, he knew he needed training ground time and friendlies to implement his system. Ineos forced him to come in now which was a mistake.
However the problem is still the same, players are just not good enough in terms of mentality more so than technical quality. The team are where they belong in the league as a mix of people in the twilight of their careers and younger players who haven't done it in the Premier league.
I am a leeds fan and Scott mctominay must be laughing his head off he was there best player look what he's doing at napoli love to see them go down
The players have been running the club since Fergie. They decide on the wage, manager, and when to sack. Whoever allowed these players this sort of power should never work again.

Instead of making Marcus Rashford the scapegoat for the last 3 years, theyve actually did him a nassive favour. This new coach was Ten Hag three years ago.
get off the internet rashford.
Troy Deeney almost looked like he was gonna cry
Embarrassing from Matterface, Crook saying it how it is and he's not having it because he spends to much time in and around the club
Utd look slow because they have no attack and they never appear to be gearing up to launch attacks. There actually seems to be little motivation in the team to attack, and that's why they look slow because essentially they never get going..!
