Growing up in the 60, 74 on our farm we never had a house key or even locked our house or took keys out of our vehicles or tractors 🚜. When we sold of farm/feedlot/ranch & moved into a small town with a tract home which atleast there was a farm field which was nice because I rode my horse in it. It was hard to remember taking a key & grabbing my truck key so I could drive over to high school for my Senior yr. LOL 😊😂

Hi! Yes, when you get to be an adult and make your own money, you get to tell it where to go. And paying someone to do deep cleaning twice a month makes sense for us! 😉

Having been a contractor I have drilled out many a lock. However at ,y house I have at least 1 keypad operated lock, just because.

Push button locks. I changed all of mine out once my sons became mobile. They hated keys and were always losing them. I would say don't get motorized locks, just the basic push button type.
Well we have never in 12 years locked out our doors so we never imagined it being a problem 😂

Yeh this was fun. We locked ourselves out on purpose and then went a two weeks without a doorknob. Makes total sense 😂

We have hide a key's for all of our houses. since our kids was little and we keep getting locked out all the time.
I want that door lock..but we have dead bolts everywhere..so I installed a digital.code locking system so its push button..if the battery dies idk what happens 😅 cute sweet little girl

You new here? I have MORE THAN ONE full time job. I’m also an adult who earns money and budgets money and owning and operating five businesses plus a full time job gives me the flexibility to hire someone to come TWO DAYS a month for a couple of hours for some deep cleaning.

Came home one day and found my dad sawzalled the lock off his door cause he couldn't find his keys and has to get into his bedroom..... he was a Vietnam vet... we had two locked front doors and there's 4 backdoors.... all with multiple deadbolts.... he had bad ptsd
