- Well, Focal Listen headphones...one driver quit working, so I did some headphone surgery, mad scientist style. Sacrilege or Savior? Hack or Bodge? Let me know in the comments what you think!
Maybe they make good speakers , but that doesn't automatically qualify them to make good headphones too. I would always go with the real headphone companies. Thanks for sharing.
No Focal left other than the ergonomics, AKG drivers now. Im happy with them!
Haven't heard Focal's best speakers, but as a generalism their tone is a bit bright for my tastes. However I own a pair of their Clear model Headphones and they are excellent, way better than both my Sennheisers. Recommend to anyone to check them if that is the price range you're looking at.
@@annehansen139 Thanks for the input! The Clear models are pretty high in the range, I can only imagine how great they sound. Good to know that they are so much better than your Sennheisers, is that the same price range that you are comparing?
@davelistenstohifi; Not quite same price range, my best sennheisers are wired over ear momentums, the Focals I got at 60% off when the new MG model Clears came out. Couldn't resist the bargain and so glad I didn't! Hope you get to listen to some one day.
