No matter what Faker says, he can't win. If his wrist is acting up, and he says so, people will blow it out of proportion and say he's making excuses. We saw what happened with the DDOS attacks, a reporter asked him something, he tried to answer it as respectfully as possible and certain people still used it against him. After seeing that, its not surprising if Faker doesnt feel like talking. But then people take his silence as him just being washed. Ofcourse Faker himself probably doesnt care too much about what people say, but the sentiment is still disgusting

@@karlandreilince IK your intentions are good but as a fellow Faker fan I've got to say comments like yours are the reason Faker (and anyone really) gets haters. Any time you say something along the lines of "you try it if it's so easy" you alienate people because it's such a silly and irrelevant thing to say.
Idk what people want from this guy at this point. The guy has been playing for over 10 years, and in those 10 years he got 10 LCK trophies, 2 MSI trophies, 4 Worlds titles, and won the Asian games. He also was never part of any kind ofcontroversies, and on top of that he is extremely humble and nice. Riot Games lucked out when the face of their game and esports is so perfect, yet people still bash him, and want more from him. He's the GOAT, and he will always will be.

I mean, it's not that hard. Whether you like or hate T1, they are literally the most popular team in the world, for better or for worst. Also the vast majority of watchers are
1. not good enough at league to appreciate such series as GenG v BLG just for their gameplay,
2. only watching this stuff for the narratives and not "cold results" like team A won or team B lost; people know and follow Faker's story, most of them don't really know who is Bin or Chovy, so from storyline POV they don't care,
3. rarely follow internationals to know any of the names, tbh even tho I watch lolesports for gameplay I still get attached to some names, I follow Bin since his Suning Finals, I know Knight since idk when, I follow Keria since him joining T1 etc etc. People who follow only internationals (especially people who follow them since long ago) have only "Faker" nickname sticking to their mind, which makes watching more interesting
tl;dr : just as with regular sports, most of the watchers don't care/don't know enough about sports to appreciate the games behind the storylines and narratives, and the T1 being by far the most "famous" team implies that people mostly watch them. Although AFAIK Chovy is becoming kinda popular in Korea, but still the canyon between him and Faker is insane.
