I want to make it to Georgia on the bike sometime
I would not want to ride that road on the weekend. I'm glad we all got to ride it when we did (no traffic and not busy). Riding it the first time was definitely intimidating there's no doubt about that. (that's what she said!)

I rode it in the rain once and even though I fishtailed it was great because no one was on it. Looks a lot better since they did the road work. 🤙
I was worried about the oils on the new surface. It was smooth. Hopefully I can hit it again one day with a bit more confidence
@@CDLNEPA Yeah that’s true. I wonder if anyone has went down on the new pavement.

Yea the dampness of the road got in my head too . Going back across was better.
I did better the 2nd time, but we had the State Troopers behind us early
When you see the sign that says crash area the next 11 miles , you know you are at the start loo
