I was a 14 year old kid from San Diego listening to these lads when everyone was saying "who??" In fact in my whole lifetime I don't think I've met one American that listened to these guys. So sad. Their loss.
I can tell you one thing after watching this video is that creativity is gone in the music of today. Everything about the bands of yesterday are and always will be Superior in every way to what exists today.
was there , it was the last night of their tour - went to the after gig party at the uni ( I think it was a uni) with the band a few hundred other fans. awesome night.
Whoever conceived the idea of incorporating the majorettes into this performance was a genius. Incidentally, as soon as the video ended, I suddenly felt compelled to buy a vintage tin of Quality Street!
Clint Boon was the 90s Ray Manzerick .. brilliant keyboard player.. I remember taping this song on the radio in 1990.. was the only decent thing played by BBC 1 that day. I love psychedelic music.. I was 16, listening to this the Roses, the Mondays and Hendrix, The Beatles of course the Doors too. All psychedelic heaven!!
Absolute class band & can remember being at this gig on leave from the army at the G-Mex & I have the gig on VHS tape what they released,Tom Hingley had a proper lads voice👌
LOVE THIS .. I was there, down the front 19 years old! OMG! saw them last month at Manchester Ritz .. always think of this troop of majorettes when i hear it. Looking forward to seeing them again at Kendal Calling :-)
Proud of the fact that me and my late mate Ray Barnes were in Madchester when it kicked! Dry Bar 201 then Sankey Soap,The Boardwalk,The Paradise Factory and The Hacienda back in the day! Those were the fucking days! RIP Ray GBNF Mate!🏴❤️
Aquí hace un rato, he escuchado y visto esta canción en vivo del Cool As... y la he cantado toda... aparte de escuchar todas los videoclips de Joe a Come back tomorrow y cantarlos... From Chile! xD

Totally amazing band, and Hingley's voice is the one for me, I don't think Holt comes anywhere near, he just can't project his voice.
Such a song of loss and longing.
Proud of the fact that me and my late mate Ray Barnes were in Madchester when it kicked!
Dry Bar 201 then Sankey Soap,The Boardwalk,The Paradise Factory and The Hacienda back in the day!

32 year ago wow ,,
All of these late 80's British bands were chasing, son. Although this is one of the best.
You should learn to walk before you fucking disregard
Just to think a future singer, songwriter Noel of Oasis is at the back of that stage waiting to change the rigging or hand some drinks out.
