So, I have this very same car. And today, I see this very same car in the video in front of me on the KzN South Coast outside the mall. I was like wow, ain't she gorgeous. Haha! Small country SA
The 2.0L diesel is absolutely brilliant. Had one on my 2012308 - just bought a 20223008GT HDi (2.0L Diesel). I specifically bought the demo (good pricing) with the 2.0L diesel engine. 2022 is the last year of the 2.0L diesel - that is unfortunate.
@@allanbriggs807hello dear . I bought 2.0 liter diesel 2022 model . I live in cold country northern Europe . I have a question . Do you feel the same . A little bit vibration in the car ? While changing the automatic transmission from D to R . Or from normal driving to sport driving. Car has small vibration. Which I don’t like . Do you have the same experience. Maybe it is just normal ?
Traded my Merc Benz GLC 220D of four years in on this car .Drives much more comfortable ,especially over speed humps and uneven roads .Plenty power, even in normal mode .Love everything about this car .Above revieuw is spot on !
I’ve got a late 2016 Megane GT at the moment but I’ve fallen in LOVE with Peugeot’s latest design language. I’m holding out for the new 308 Estate to start coming up on the used market because I think it looks fantastic with an incredible interior that based on looks alone should even have Audi worried.
Just sold our 308SW (estate) for a 3008. Both very good cars, but the 3008 just looks and drives so well and the interior beats the 308SW, even if the rear of the 308SW is slightly bigger
Thank you I have looked for awhile at this and now I'll be trading my BMW in which is a old model 535D 2005 so I can buy this for my family trips. Thank you I appreciate the nice review!
@@raymondbotha3675 to be honest not yet its going after Christmas it's a dream car but I prefer the 3008 as a family car and I also have a elderly grandad who struggles to get into my BMW. Honestly I would say the BMW 535D is an outstanding car for luxury and also speed haha
I love it too. We have the previous gen and it has been great. The new one is quite different but is very expensive. The Haval H6 starts to make everything else like the 3008, Tucson, Sportage, Tiguan etc look ridiculously expensive. The top spec H6 can be had for over R100k less than all of these and it has way way better parking cameras for example and other features. So long as Haval is here with the H6 and Jolion (Jolion competes with 2008, T Cross etc), then the other brands are going to struggle especially those like Peugeot. Their pricing needs to improve. Peugeot refused to offer us much for our 2013 3008 which only has 78,000kms on now. As a result we couldn't get the new 3008 and will never get one. We are now looking at the Havals.
@@seaspray75 for a Car make up it’s been making these vehicles for over a decade and is the number 1SUV manufacturer and seller in China and is now even in Australia becoming one of the top selling SUVs already and the GWM Ute is now already out selling major competitors so I don’t think there’s any issue with reliability as this is a generation 3 h6 now and have improved immensely
I have test driven the Haval H6 also .The Peogeot is just more sorted and driveable .Haval H6 is a good car but the peogeot 3008 is a very well balanced car and drives as good and even better than the two lexus RX i have previously had .Haval gets you from A to B
@@ebenlaubscher4153 I agree on that. I also drove the new 3008 and it drives amazingly well but most people will unfortunately not even notice because the price difference to the H6 is so vast.
Urgent Question , looking at J7 new or very low mileage 3008 GT , or possible 2008 GT. Small family , one child . Which would be your choice having driven all ? Thanks Juliet ❤
Ooooh this is tricky, have you driven all three? Look, I think you will be happy with all of them to be honest. I would go with the best drive and the best price. That Peugeot 3008 is lovely!!!!!!! So is the 2008
@@julietmcguire thanks Juliet . Have a bit of an issue , there is 3008gt low mileage in JHB I wanted . But wanted to test one locally in CT. None of the Peugeot dealers has a 2008 or 3008 to test !! What has me worried is the parts and service of they can’t even keep either for a customer to test to buy . Any thoughts on ownership of Peugeot ? Great car and so keen to buy but don’t want to be stuck if there’s issues waiting for months for part to be shipped in …. Amazing fun reviews , thanks 👍
All French cars at the mid to upper level are great. After sales service...depends where you go. Huge pity about the re-sale values, even when you are trading-in for another of the same brand. Lekker review!!
Finally! Been waiting for you to test drive one of the new Peugeots. If you do any other models, please mention something about their service reputation, what the word on the street is about that? That's my only hesitation. Very few service centres here in the Cape (I'm in Somerset West) and Peugeots historic reputation isn't the best unf.
@@seaspray75 That does seem to be the common perception, but I'm reliably told by those in the trade, that Peugeot are spending a lot of money investing into SA with this new range, they've build a big warehouse for spare parts and guarantee a replacement part within 48hrs (something that took weeks previously). You think different? Keen to know cos it's a tough choice.
That's funny - Our family has driven over 10million kms on Peugeots (that's correct - 10million Kms). We have never had a major problem. we've owned 403- 404 - 504 - 407 - 405 - 308 - 3008. We've owned sedans - station wagons - SUV's. It seems that the only unreliable Peugeots land in England. Reliability is a feature of Peugeots -except for the period late 90's to very early 2000's when quality control was a problem. The only other issue I can think of was the very early 1.2 Petrol tech engines.
Peugeot makes the most solid cars for the money, i have driven many with over 250,000kms and they still drive great!
also very expensive..
Wish I could afford one of these; brilliant review

Beautiful car!👍🏼
Please make Review on Tata Harrier
Lovely car I must say, great review as well. Can you please say something about fuel consumption.
1.5 EAT8 auto diesel allure spec probably the best. By the way it has a gearbox from Asin Japan I believe. Best medium SUV on the road
are they going to bring the 2l diesel ?? most dealerships only have the 1.6 petrol.
They have the 2.0L diesel in Australia up to the 2022 model - none for 2023 model.
Awesome. Love your reviews 🔥
