If I'm being completely honest, I'd say Runway Gen 3 is both exciting and disappointing at the same time. It can work well for certain subjects BUT you have to generate quite a few times to get something usable. Cost is just a bit too much and no ability to do img to video just yet. But so far I'd say true "text to video" gen 3 is slightly better than the rest.
well thats where unlimited plan comes in, i think that is a MUST for this. even if the generation times are slower. it is well worth it as like you said it may take a few trials to get what you want. ;-) if you can work within the limitations i think its far worth it!
Sure I think for people that can afford it definitely the way to go. I'm hoping they approve my application to the creator program. Otherwise it's way out of my budget, the only $ I make from my channel is from ad revenue at the moment and it really isn't much. Maybe in the future I can adjust my current budget or if my channel blows up hahaha!
@@gu9838 I agree it's great and disappointing at the same time. It gets quite expensive to get the right video, they're not giving us enough credits to generate a decent amount of videos. I also don't like it that they could suspend my account after paying $15 for the most basic feature. I wish we get our local programmers like the people from Stable Diffiusion and Fooocus to develop something like Gen 3 and Sora, so we can use it at an unlimited amount of times without paying.
if only they would work with gaming artist the fix would be very quick, those effect are ridiculous, as an artist I can see easily why Ai app can't fix the 2 hands/background/2heads f*ckery, unless you need only 1 seconde video those app are useless.
This issue looks voluntery to push people to spend more and more money... This. can. be. fixed.
I would agree a little here, but once u know what you’re looking for, especially fpv shots it’s quite cool! I did a music video for a song I made and I spent about $30 in credits and I think it turned out pretty well! Really depends on what you’re looking for

I think it will work much better with img2vid but I see progress in their txt2vid, just too expensive.
Way too expensive for the amount of generations you get. Very inconsistent and outputs nonsense a lot of the time. With no option for image to video it’s not worth it unfortunately.
I'd agree to that. Only reason why I subscribe is for content on this channel. If I didn't cover it, I wouldn't subscribe just yet. Progress is always good but "text to image" still needs a lot of work. I'm sure img to video will be much better.
Honestly, at this point, I would like them to improve what Gen-1 almost had in mind, and that's taking a video to guide the movements and composition of the scene and output a transformed, photorealistic, stylized, or enhanced video. Having a preserve/creative slider for some creative control would be a plus.
Yeah I was hoping that they would improve on that as well. I’m all for recording video and using Ai to recreate it. Much easier for me personally. Hopefully it still part of their plans.

since the credits are pretty pricy i would encourage EVERYONE who is interested to at least sign up for unlimited for the first month or so. it is by far the best bang for your buck period. and for that price you get UNLIMITED videos . it may generate a bit slower but to me thats a very SMALL price to pay for being able to make as many as you want. it really is almost required in a model like this. otherwise you will be EATING UP credits. so that would be my suggestion really.
So they just released a unfinished product due to fomo to Kling and Luma machine. Not the best stradegy imo. Both competitors have img2vid which is the core feature people want because it gives them more control over the expectation.
Pretty much. Luma could really take advantage being one of the front runners in AI video at the moment. Will be interesting to see how the next few months go.
Which is your pick? Any pros and cons of the two Luma Ai vs. Runway AI? Can't decide between the two 😅
Hard to pic honestly, I quite like Luma a bit better for value, Runway is pricey but they tend to offer more features down the line. I would try both one month at a time and see what you like. Can't go wrong with either one.
@MonzonMedia have any experience using to generate vehicles? I wonder if you put the specific car make, would it be able to create it? Or atleast look closes to it.
Would it even be possible to keep consistency with a image of ones own car in different AI scenarios?
If the generation looks widely different that would suck.

Indeed, the progress is great! But pricing from Runway and Luma isn't making it accessible for most people. I don't mind paying but they should make it a bit more reasonable.

Indeed super expensive, I milked my credits in no time banging out 10 second clips, seems still not worth it for me, but better closer!

Yes, have to agree they have priced this very high for what you get in return, it's not like the generations are exactly what your after straight away.....not worth it at the moment
