- I don't drink alcohol and i'm on a low carb/low sugar diet (oh my god i'm a picky sod!) but i like enjoying a pint after a ride .. so is this Guinness 0.0% beer the answer to my prayers?

i've been fighting alcoholism for almost a year now , cut down from like 4 bootles of whiskey a week to a few cans of 0.0 alcohool beer , ill say that this Guinness its the best non alcoholic beer i've ever had , definitely my new addiction. thank god for Guinness
Quit while you're ahead. trust me it only goes downhill the longer you drink. I got up to a fifth and 3 beers every day for 7 years straight sometimes a fifth and a bottle of wine a day. I quit do to my stomach puffing up like a balloon , blood flow issues my legs turned purple and my heart would race super fast just from walking a few feet I was just waiting to die from eather hart failure or liver failure I was on deaths door . Luckily for me I had all the warning signs and was able to stop before it killed my liver completely or my hart I'm only 35, now that I'm sober I have deep guilt drinking as much as I did .
All the best to you. I'm intrigued to go alcohol free but feel so nervous about it.

@@triggeringliberals405 I'm only 33 and was in the same boat, almost had a heart attack after only 2 days without a drink. I had to do a medical detox and was placed on benzos and blood pressure meds. I also have guilt and feel ashamed but there is hope, hope all is going well.
@@middleagedpunk8923 he shouldnt feel guilty because no one but himself got hurt, but he was definitely responsible. you started to drink for a reason. it intrigued you. you lifted the beer to your mouth, no one ensnared you.
I absolutely love the Guinness 0.0 and, in my opinion, it is absolutely the best non-alcoholic drink on the market.

I have just had my first 0.0 Guinness -- Blown away how nice it is. So close to the original one.
One of the finest in the world, it sets itself apart from your typical cheap boozy beers, Guinness is truly something all its own.

@@Metamophisis it’s just what’s the point of having a non alcoholic beer. There are better tasting things than a beer.
I'm an early adopter of non alcoholic beer and been drinking it for nearly 20 years. This is without a doubt the best non alcoholic beer I've ever tried, over hundreds of brands. I'm not a fan of comparing NA beers to its alcoholic counterparts: NA beer should stand on its own as a healthy refreshing drink rather than an alternative to beer. As you said, the low sugar content makes this beer very healthy and also takes the win as a healthy drink.
Nobody mentioned this, but there's no burping afterwards given the nitrogen component so this drink is also good for people who suffer from GERD and acid reflux. There's no bloatiness afterwards and no reflux or acidic damage from the CO2. This is amazing. 10/10.

Honestly the guiness taste so good that non alcoholic beverage just plain makes sense, who does not love that caramel, dark chocolate and coffee bean taste.
Just got some at the baltimore guinness brewery yesterday and I really loved it! Tastes super rich and full- cant believe it’s 0%!

I about teared up when I tried it yesterday, I've been sober for 2 years now but always missed the taste of Guinness and hoped for a NA version. Now I can enjoy a pint again and not have to worry since it's 0.0
Been sober for 19 now and have been into NAs a while. This is bar far the best stout out there in NA, and yeah, it pretty much nails the 'Original'.

I managed to get some of this in today from Sainsburys after finding the other local supermarkets out of stock with them flying off the shelves so it looks like it is very popular. Mine are in the fridge now getting chilled so will probably have one later tonight. I really enjoy Guinness so looking forward to trying it.
I've always enjoyed the taste of a good beer but never cared for being drunk. Guinness 0.0 is the best thing to happen to me lol
Also love the stuff from Athletic Brewing Co, when I want something that tastes more like an IPA. They've really knocked it out of the park too I would say!

Came across it today in the supermarket, had to pick up a can. Didn't expect anything but yes, it tastes just like the real deal ! Hooked.
It’s simply amazing, it’s isotonic as well, so after your long session exercising you can have a drink knowing it’s putting nutrients back in .

Dieter impressions to me were that I could really taste the roasted barley, tasting reminiscent of Guinness Red- if anyone remembers that. Thanks for exposing the carb: sugar contents that’s always a mystery to me & was a concern I had. Great review. I agree totally and am very happy with Guinness 0.0

It's spot on but I can only drink 2 or 3 then had enough unlike alcohol ones about 12 pints😂

I need to try this! I enjoy mixing in good NA beer, typically Athletic Brewing is my fav. Having been to the Guinness brewery a couple years back there is a high bar to compare to, so pumped to try it!

DEFINITELY the best non-alcoholic drink on the market. It does taste very close to normal Guinness.
Got it today Richard, totally blown away! if I were served it down the pub I wouldn't know it wasn't alcohol! The best alcohol free beer by far, maybe very slightly less dense than the real thing, but 9/10 I would say, had 2 tonight! Many thanks

I tried it for the first time yesterday evening and could not believe how delicious it is. It tastes exactly the same as ordinary Guinness, plus it’s very low calorie, only 3.5 Syn’s, you can safely drive after drinking it and you don’t get a hangover 😋🥳👍
Quit drinking alcohol over a year ago and tried many non alcoholic drinks but toast like crap . I tried guineas 00 and it was amazing now I can go out with friends and enjoy a point again brilliant
21 yrs sober so took the safe plunge to try 0 alc drinks 2 yrs ago. Love love love it, Guinness is the best. I dont recommend to my patients though due to association. Im not inclined to ever consume alcohol again. This stuff is just amazing my fave drink.
It seemed to settle quite a bit faster than the real deal.
A couple other reviewers were disappointed with the taste.
I'm looking forward to trying it when it finally arrives here.

I haven't touched alcohol since the mid nineties. Going to the pub and drinking lemonade is not a lot of fun. I'm glad that there is a range of AF and LA beers and Guinness 0.0 is the icing on the cake. It's nice to be able to enjoy a beer again minus the hangovers and dehydration.
I agree Nick, i stopped drinking a few years ago as i was a bit bored of it and it was stopping me doing things i.e. hangovers etc.. it's amazing how much more 'stuff' i do now but it's nice to be able to have a 'pint' still👍👍

@@davewordsworth1251 hi Dave, I had a career in PR and was out drinking with journos most nights and when I semi retired I just got bored of drinking and that feeling of ‘vagueness’ when you’ve had a drink. I stopped and IMMEDIATELY started doing more, visiting friends I’d lost touch with because I could now go and see them and then (because I wasn’t drinking) drive home.. I started riding my mountain bike more and this is now a new career for me, completely out of the blue. Literally every part of my life improved as soon as I stop drinking. 😎😊

My relationship with alcohol is not severe/but it is bad i.e. failed my PhD due to it, any issues/arguments etc alcohol was involved etc. It has been 4 days with no alcohol and I think I might try and NA beer, just to see what it is like. Just one final question do you drink NA beers regularly? Have you ever fallen off the wagon since stopping? As your video was helpful as I used to/like a beer with a curry and the Guinness watching rugby - I just feel the positives of not drinking are higher, but of course I still want to enjoy life and events. Thanking you again for your reply and your statement on every other asped of your life improved is great.

Best non alcohol beer I've tried by far. I always enjoyed a pint of Guinness , even visited the Guinness facility in Dublin. Trouble is can't seem to find it for sale here in B.C. Canada😢

Heineken and Guinness have nailed the non alcoholic beers. I honestly can't tell the differences.
For when I’m out during the week or drinking at the rugby club bar, for which I can only drive to & from and especially when I’m religious fasting and alcohol is definitely out, this drink has saved me. It really is a lovely drink, non-alcoholic out otherwise.
It's a nice satisfying drink.
Been trying alcohol free beer for 40 years and after two sips of Guinness AF, knew that this was easily the best ive ever tasted. Incredibly close to the original alcoholic one.

Its like a lil placebo affect on my brain i stopped drinking alcohol because of the detrimental affects to muscle and strength growth but missed not only the social aspect of drinking but also really like the taste too

The oldest Becks Blue os the only 0.5% beer that tastes good.
Other 0.5 beers are decent but ive yet to try a 0.0 beer that actually tastes like beer.

LOL how dare you Dave 🤣 actually with the widget in the can the BEST way to get a head is doing exactly that pour .. if you do a ‘normal’ pour with a tilted glass (I tried) you get no head at all. Trust me bud 😊 I’m 10 cans In and I’ve done it both ways a few times - fast and middle is the way to go 🤘🤘

I've been on a long quest for NA beers- and believe me, the best one you can find in the US is - Samuel Adams "Just the Haze". 10/10. Can't find Guinness 0.0 in the states yet tho~

Havent taste this one yet it'll be my next one since this one cost the most for less amount at the store where I buy mine. I've had or now drink non alcoholic bud, busch, stella artois, heineken, berks, coors, bitbulger, and now drinking a corona and I thought the corona had the best and most flavor out of all of them.The corona taste just like the real thing. Second favorite is stella artois. But going off of this it looks like the guiness might have more flavor than what i think the corona has

Stick with me buddy … I tried a ‘traditional’ angled pour and the straight pour 5 times each and with a can with a widget the head was better with a straight pour 🤘👍 obvs not the same if on a tap 👍👍

Good review but I think you're only supposed to pour it slowly halfway, let it settle a bit and then follow up with the remainder of the can, it's just that that's the traditional way of serving this particular beer but to each their own I suppose.
Cheers Seth, i poured it the ‘proper’ way a few times (as if it was out of a pump in the pub) but cans with ‘widgets’ actually need to be poured super fast in the middle otherwise you don’t really get any sort of head… a wise man told me that and it’s true - LOL i tested the theory with 12 cans of each technique and pouring fast created a better head 🙌👍👍👍

I think it tastes exactly like Guinness also... canned Guinness. Not a pulled Guinness, unfortunately. But if you like Guinness in a can, you'll like 0.0.

It's close but it's not perfect to me. I find the 0.0 has a more watery taste. Just not as full bodied as the original.
I'm sure you're right David .. I've not had the 'original' for a while - i think it might be a little sweeter as well but I'd very happily have a few pints 🍻

From what I've read on the web, all forms of Guinness (including 0.0) are considered vegan.

Lol maybe if you're using a pump but honestly mate any can with a 'widget' should be poured this way to get the most authentic head .. i poured 6 each way and this is definitely the way to go.

It’s only the aftertaste for me that is slightly different than with the alcoholic version. The best non alcoholic beer I have ever had.

@@DickingAboutTV Maybe its me. I haven't had a beer/drink in over thirty years so maybe I forgot what actual Guinness tastes like. I just remember I used to really like it... And it took me awhile to fully appreciate H00 so maybe I should give Guinness another try...
Load a baws, if you cannae tell the difference youve no had guinness before, there is no need for all this zero% garbage, tea, coffee, water, pop, milk if you no wanting a swally, guinness should be ashamed, made millions the world over making the proper stuff, nae pish
