Adding that bit of grit into the cleans is such a great choice. It's definitely an opener, but it absolutely flies by. 'I'm staring down the barrel, cutting through the marrow, right through the bones' the flow of the lyrics throughout the album are incredible, but this song starts at 10 ❤️
The phrasing in the cleans is familiar yet not, wondrous yet restrained. How an album written with could be so mournful yet entirely celebratory is anyone's good guess. In any other words, this album is the most complete and resplendent in your catalogue, and a standout across music this year. Triumph never sounded so bittersweet.
@@_Nibi ahhh, the common reply of the illiterate and ignorant. A translation for your sake: you'd think this was written AFTER he died, and it's really good as an album but kind of makes you sad too.
NOW THIS IS HOW YOU OPEN AN ALBUM!!!
No doubt man
These guys just brought it with this album
Gives me shivers everytime I open the album
This is probably my favorite song off the album. The last half of this song is probably my favorite section of Polaris’s discography.
Almost thinking the same thing, freaking gnarly 1:40 on
@@jessemiles5856Yeah man. Such a dope section.

Shit gets me pumped up every time!
The best song is nightmare
I love how the opening tracks get better each release.
Lucid was out the gate running, while Pray for Rain and Harbinger slowly build up then bang.

The Boys are finally back in Town! 💥🔥
Te quiero mucho Polaris ❤
These lyrics are so to me. As someone who goes through suicidal ideations, especially in the gym, these lyrics reach beyond my depths.
This song needs to go for 10 minutes.. (or 100) the feel and energy is fkn brilliant. chills.. amazing build and evident of progress.
God I love this song
Reminds me the first song of AFI-Sing the sorrow, EPIC way to start an album ♥️
Favorite track on the album. Hearing BMTH vibes on this one. 👌
Great song, very profound lyrics. One of my favourite songs.
Whole album is incredible but mannnn this opener has to be one of if not the best album openers ever to exist.
This song is a masterpiece
Album of the year
agreed!
From the second single on, just absolutely captivating.
There's usually 4-5 songs I run through on an album, this shit is 9-10 every single time.
I really would think TMBTE, but honestly, after ryan passing it makes this mean so much more.
Agreed too
Amazing power song for me. I love this song.

Australia produces some sick metal music, if only the place was habitable by humans…
This album is nowhere near the death of me
Facts
This album is better than The Death of Me
All 3 albums are incredible. Go cry elsewhere.
So mediocre it hurts.
