I was there... saw/heard this live n the 80's n 90's (I got lucky just moved there from Philly) n I've never heard/saw nothing like it before n snatched my lil ass right up along with everyone else who especially the bruthers yes men! hook, line n sanka... dancing, smiling, hands up, praising n recording this band... yes men everywhere pretty much the audience was 75? percent men it was unbelievable because back then most... men (18) didn't fast dance other than on soul train. Chuck did it and only woman there witness this n got turned on n started dancing freaking behind them.I wanna thank you godfather Chuck thee creator for saving n blessing me with your new percussions lead badass band the Soul Searchers n ur 1st gogo song that went world wide... I feel like busting loose! Only we in D.C. had no idea it went there n they have/had no idea where it came from, what it was or who made it. It's very sad that Washingtonians didn't/don't share with the world that beat because somebody is gonna steal it now that the band mbr's, old heads followers are dead or dying. Ty...

EU has always a Top band ever since could remember..Myself I always been a Red & White especially when James Funk and Benny was around but l always give props when they are due....Every time EU comes to play at a Major event they always turns it out...But like they say It's a Family Affair...
DJ DAVITO Footz to me was super in the pocket. Laid back and in the pocket. He kept the flow going but Juju to me as just nasty funky! His rolls sounded like thunder. He had a lot of tricks and his foot was lightning fast. He was an exciting drummer.
