Thanks a lot for this. Trying to get an emu running with Ignite was my nightmare for today. But this helped tremendously. Tip for anyone else with Ignite: get the JAVA system environment variable going (windows 10,11) , REBOOT and then keep starting ignite with 'npm run android' and after an hour of errors and Java compiling it will start the emu and the metro server.
bro pls help when i pressed a i got this error message: Couldn't start project on Android: Error running adb: The emulator (New_Device_API_30) quit before it finished opening. You can try starting the emulator manually from the terminal with: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk/emulator/emulator @New_Device_API_30
might be late now but... just open android studio and go to AVD Manager (or Emulator Manager for newer versions) and run your device. Then open the cmd and type 'npm start'. Don't know if you already knew but I hope this helps

Hola Comenze hace solo unos dias con el emulador de android Studio para react Native, la verdad me parece una herramienta que funciona muy mal. Estoy en lo correcto? Esta llena de bugs! De todos modos tu tutorail me ha servido mucho, gracias.
I have followed all your steps but getting below error: Error: 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Could you please help me.
If you follow all the steps and restart your PC it will work. And make sure you have corrected jdk version and correctly setup environment variables. And also sometimes it takes multiple attempts to open.
Followed all your steps and then I restarted my system but still getting the error. "No Android connected device found, and no emulators could be started automatically."

It's a hidden folder. Watch the video again and you will find the answer.

Recheck your environment variables because sdk and jdk paths are important.
Its not installing expo go on the emulator here? It just runs the emulator on the homescreen
may be this is because you haven't setup the environment variables properly.

Can android studio run with 4gb ram?
If you just have 4GB of ram (and no graphic card). It will give you lot of problem. In my thinking use Expo Go app.

How did you resolve that issue?
Which one?
@@fsniraj No Android connected device found, and no emulators could be started automatically.
If you have set up correctly all the environment variables and all then you have to restart your system.
