last year i targeted coon at some old homesteads and got 5 skunk. you mentioned that a 120 would work for skunk and aren’t they a 110 with 2 springs instead of one? and if they are do you think a 110 would work on skunk
Good information where to find them . There is a market for the skins with the feet on the skins. You can get more for them after they are put up. Thanks
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 You welcome and thanks for shearing your knowledge. It will help me on what I do to try to improve on some things Thanks again
Really glad you did this one! Caught a few last year but this year I'm hoping to really put it on them. Do you like the #11's for skunk or do you prefer the 1.5 cs or even the #1's?
That there is one critter I don't want to deal with. Where I live here in Maryland, I can count on one hand how many skunks I saw or saw along the road dead.
Another good video Mr. Billingsley. I've been thinking about trying to target skunks myself for the reasons you stated. Do you know of any bait that would appeal to skunks but not to coons? In this market I might rather catch a skunk than a coon.
I’ve noticed the skunk is the grub worm diggers I can get huge grub worms 🐛 in my yard easily. I’m going to try to get some and try to use them in dog proofs and set them into a a hole the size of the trap so they feel as if they’re digging for grubs and see if I connect .
I heard you were going big for beaver this season, 500 beaver wow, Do you have your own castor lure? I need some more and would like to use yours contact me. THANKS
I just ordered some Swamp Master from Dale and it smells EXACTLY like a beaver. I’d have to think it’d be good for cats too. And Cypress Breaks smells great too.
The fat off the hide has value to.lure makers and soap and candle makers. The fat off the body is medicinal. Lip balms and hand creams and such. The meat is used by some lure makers so is the essence and empty pods. Thanks for watching Steve. I have a video on UA-cam about marketing all the by product. Give it a look. Thanks

A 110 might work Ben? But the strike force of 2 springs is a better option I think. Thanks for watching

However, I was not into trapping at the time. So, we used live traps.

Being a new trapper I have a fear of catching these guys. How do you dispatch without them spraying and any tips to keep the stink down?
Shoot them behind the front shoulder Jesse just 1 time and back away. It doesn't take long for them to go down. Thanks for watching
