Thank you for this snippet of the movie Ghost and Mrs.Muir…I’d seen it several times and had forgotten what the actors really looked like. So many comments of the TV series comparing Rex Harrison and Edward Mulhare as Capt. Gregg, decided Mulhare was so much better looking than Harrison..but seeing the Movie Capt. Gregg again…I can see..they’re both in the same make up and are both exceedingly handsome; Harrison looks a little bit more rugged but no less handsome. The movie is a precious item. The leading women are also comparably beautiful with the TV series presenting Mrs.Muir as quite a bit more independent as befits the era it was produced in…while the movie stayed in nearly the same era as the house and its ghostly legend of that earlier time. Both good with excellent qualities, imo. And I’d love to see the movie again,,in full too. Again,,thank you.

I love both the film and the tv series. As you said, Mrs Muir is a lot more independent in the series due to the time period, but both have so much to offer. The film is lovely and sentimental, and the series is lighthearted with the thread of romance through it.

The TV show Captain (Edward Mulhare) was even better, more loving and romantic.. and they had such great chemistry. Rex Harrison is also good in here.
