I faced Chris Dyer in the Swansea Reigionals in 2016, he was the only person to win both games against me. He's a very strong player, and was good enough to help me understand some of my critical mistakes playing against him. I've also thoroughly been enjoying Ben's UA-cam channel, you can learn so much from it. I love being a part of the UK meta, both of these players deserved to get this far! Well done team Snek!

Really cool to see the rise and fall of archetypes and decks from year to year, and what a great way to wrap up 2016. Good coverage of a really fun contest between two great players. Thanks for the commentary, nice to get insight into this level of play.

I'm just glad it wasn't Dan that won again.

Exclent match, very skilled players so much going on, love it. The only thing that I cant understand is that there is so much mess with the player tokens, this is the WORLDS FINALS! Not a kitchen match. FFG should give the finalists the nice tokens, if thats to much at leas borrow them.

As someone newer to the game, I'm confused as to how Ben was able to reshuffle his drop into his deck after he had decked out part way into Game 1. Can someone explain this to me?

I left the game 1 year ago for AGoT 2.0 and back then I had called out the DLR decks, before douch bag Dan won Worlds with them ... 1 year later, still the same deck at Finals :D just WoW ...

Have you met Dan before? He's a pretty nice and chill guy. I'm not sure why you would think he's a douche.
Ben's DLR deck is pretty different against Dan's from a year ago. Its matchup against CTM can be really intense if you understand what's really going on in the minds of the players, and I feel like this game demonstrated that pretty effectively. I think immediately dismissing Netrunner because a DLR hits the table is pretty short-sighted and overly reactionary.

Not really it is a LCG (Living Card Game) not a CCG (Collectible Card Game).
So with Magic and other CCG's as you know you buy boosters that have random cards and rarities.
A LCG like netrunner you get ALL the cards. Netrunner has a few expansions and "Data packs" (Think small expansions). I believe with all expansions you get three copies of every card, and three of the same card is the max you can have in a deck. So you basically only have to buy one copy of the base games and any expansions (Think multiple data packs) or data packs.
I recommend buying the base set (only about 30-40 bucks) and see if you like it. Then you buy just buy random sets or look into styles and buy expansions or set that focus on that style.

Instead of buying sealed packs, you buy Expansions and Data Packs that tell you exactly what you're buying. They each give you guaranteed stuff for every faction. You "collect" cards, but they are all valued equally. Its still expensive, but you're never spending a ton of money looking for That One Overpowered Card. That's the meaning of "Living Card Game."

If you buy the core box of netrunner you can play with everybody that wanna play, they dont need buy their own deck.

ol knesebeck did you watch the match? He didn't win with random agendas in the archives that happened to be agendas that were enough to win. He actually methodically decked the Corp out and went through all the Jackson reshuffles and having his accounts closed early. Having to protect his combo in 3 different combination of ways. That was two skilled players fighting it out very well and the runner winning in the end.
