I don't understand why Indian origin male ISKCON devotees refuse to wear dhotis unlike westerner male devotees who always wear dhoti kurta. They come in t-shirt and jeans and that's disrespectful. The same guys wear formal suits to attend a wedding or interview. But in mandirs they don't have enough respect for the Sanatan traditions. Christians go to church wearing suits. Hindu boys wear jeans to the mandirs. "I don't own a dhoti, I don't know how to wear a dhoti" excuses prove the disrespect.
You have a point, do keep in mind that in Canada it does get cold, there are many reasons, so i cant speak on behalf of other devottees. Thank you for watching.
