If you are going for the luxury driving experience then the Bentley is the car for you . If you want to waft along in ultimate comfort , RR is the car for you . You really can not compare the two.
Mucho Acho + I agree. And their pricing is much better too. The new entry level Rolls Royce ghost is fantastic, but has a starting price of $330,000. That’s insane for an entry model. But the flying spur’s price is much cheaper.

That's because it sounds like an Escort with a hole in the exhaust from the outside:), I love Sebs video and I love Bentley interior and exterior styling but..like a Range Rover SVR I think they sound like tractors , perhaps it's a hark back to thirties racing Bentleys or something but hmmmm
I loved that you did practical things like go through a drive thru and you fit people in the back seat.
I love that part too. Especially when he picked up his friend, Charlie from home (probably, idk?) and dropped him off somewhere else. He really showed the 'live with Bentley'.
I got the convertible and it's perfect for tossing the recycle bins in the back seat, instead of dragging them down the long drive to the curbside in the morning and then all the way back up again when I get home from the office.

Highlight of the car
I love the door! Being able to have it stop in wherever position you want is handy. I do a lot of car shows, and it’s a common issue with door dings. Yes, seems like a small thing but it’s very handy. And on the car itself? Ever since the 60’s and watching Mr. Steed (The Avengers) driving his vintage Bentley, it’s been my dream car company. The first time I saw a Continental was in Miami. I couldn’t how beautiful it was! I mentioned it to a salesman at the furniture store we were at, and he said, “Oh. Bentley Continentals are what some high schoolers drive to class.” Oh, okay.
I’ve always had an unexplainable affinity for this particular model of Bentley. Absolutely exquisite.

Mercedes Benz E550 V8 Cabriolet has the same feature. One button drops all four windows and no pillar so one massive open space which is a super neat look.

The Conti GT still makes my list of ideal GT cars, as of May 1st, 2021, together with the BMW M8.
Just to keep you all updated, there are the ideal sendans (Giulia QV, S-Class), sports cars (911 GTS, AMG GT C, R8 - maybe), SUV's (Range Rover, G63), sporty SUV (Q8), 4x4 (Defender 90) and a pickup truck (RAM 1500).
Have you ever been in any of those cars ? We’re talking Dailey driver here.. Props to you if you can daily drive any of those cars you just named

Great review, but I'm surprised at seeing the car bounce over speed bumps. Ever seen the videos of a BENZ & a ROLLS ROYCE go over speed bumps and just the wheel moves. NOT THE CAR. Hopefully that can be ordered on the BENTLEY..(it has 4 wheel steering too right?)
This is a very nice car and this is a very good review. The Bentley really is a beautifully built car.
Just fold the mirrors in while threading through tight spaces. There should be a one touch function, on the mirror adjustment panel.

The button to open all windows is a very old feature. Even C class mercedes from 2001 have it. Its just hidden together with the aircon air recycle button
I drive in germany the w12 and its very fast and comftabel. You drive 340km/h and you can speak normal. 😀

Bad News! My 2013 Opel Meriva, nothing fancy, opened the four windows with the door opening button on the remote control key. Well, you had to press several seconds, I admit.

What's the difference between the standard vs the mulliner? There's a big price difference.
The Bentley is not one of those poster cars and hence must be one of the most underrated cars out there.

My neighbour has a Porsche Panamera GTS . And an old Bentley Mulsanne. Both were drived only in the first 2 months ,but after he put into the garage, and bought a Landcruiser for daily driving. Why ? Because so many scratches, little damages, ice rain , etc happened with the new cars in this big city traffic. Need to be cleaned every day in the hand washer. He worried so much , he has no hair now ;))
So these cars are not good for dailiy driving in a city.

I enjoyed this for one very important reason. You drove on a normal road ,with normal everyday crappy stuff to deal with . Narrow paths etc, parked vehicles .. So, yeah.. great stuff.

To be fair, I don't think people who drive Bentleys travel with four suitcases. If you did need to though, you could always tell your driver to follow along in the Range Rover.

My 308cc Peugeot has a button to lower all the windows with one touch. I can also lower the roof with a remote whilst putting my shoes on in the house. Again one touch.
