pretty cool! i've been using a 40% for the past year, even got around to making my own pcbs, so that's something. you know, can't be a linux elitist without being an elitist in everything.
@@oglothenerd oh lmao i can understand i still have arrow keys on my base layer so i dont have that problem, i just have a problem every now and then when i need to a key combo that spans multiple layers
@@oglothenerd maybe you are confusing between this and another keyboard. Rainy75 is a budget prebuilt. It should be instock depending on what option you wanna get. It is CNC aluminium, so metal. Beautiful thick pbt doubleshot keycaps, supports both wifi and bluetooth and cable (2ms latency on wired). Has beautiful weights on the back. Some pretty nice switches. Amazing stabs. Full RGB. And all that for a budget price.
@@yoavco99 Oh, yeah, I know what you are talking about now. Uh... I may get it if I get enough money to splurge on another keyboard. (I am at that age now where I can't make money (with a formal job), but my parents are making me spend my own money.)
@@oglothenerd yeah I have been that age lol. tbh I bought the rainy75 like a few months ago and I just turned 18. before that I bought the gmmk pro (bow pbt keycaps with hiragana sublegends + black inks v2 + lube + film, pe foam mod and some stabs and stuff) like I think 2 years ago or something but it kinda sucked so much (the board itself) I had to buy another and I don't regret it. Currently I am using the rainy75 with my black inks v2
I really need a new keyboard! The keys on my current on have died and revived themselves countless times lmao and I really regret getting a 60 percent now since I do a lot of programming these days and quiet rarely game competitively like I used to, plus I have a bigger table these days so mouse space is no longer a problem. 80% keyboard one day 🙏super broke rn
I also got the CIDOO because it has a very nice exterior that wasn't too expensive at all. The CIDOO V75 has no plastic on the exterior, and yet it is the same price as a nice-ish plastic keyboard.
That’s a nice keeb!!!
Thank you! That means a lot considering your pfp is a keyboard and you are called Typecraft online! :D

VOD uploaded. :D
interesting keycaps profile
Yeah.

A 40% sounds painful, ngl. (._.)
@@oglothenerd sometimes it is haha 😅 but i gotta say mine is still a pretty normal 40 compared to some of the things the 40s community makes
@Tobikaboom1 I have a friend who has no arrow keys on his keeb, it was a real pain teaching him about the terminal.

@Tobikaboom1 I see... yeah, I really hate the idea of needing more than 1 layer.
question for you would you do a rice from start to finish based on gentoo?
@@ogInexpriencedGamer My rice is distro agnostic.
keyboards
Yes.
I would instead recommend the rainy75
Isn't the Rainy75 always out-of-stock? Also, I prefer metal keyboards. Thanks for the suggestion though, they are always welcome!

I got the CIDOO for a very weird reason. I got the V75, but I also got the V21. So I have a 75%, but I also have a separate numpad. :D

you still using gentoo?
Yup, it is really good!
can u record a video and send it to me so i can listen to it for 10 hours?
Lol, uh... maybe sometime I will do a no-talking ASMR programming video.
