Very nice! I just bought a 2024 Sienna to do the same thing. The design will be different, but still fully self contained. I like watching Sienna conversion videos because I get ideas. The idea I got from this video was to build a box around the seat carriage things instead of building the floor above it and losing height and space. My bed will be full width, so no side shelves.
Thank you and congratulations on your new Sienna. I’ve just ordered rooftop storage ( Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Cargo Box - 11 cu ft - Gloss Black) which is 11 inch height so it can get into our garage. We also have our front and rear video recorded even when we are not in the car by using blue etti solar generator. I think I may even turn on GPS function on back mirror camera. Good luck with making minivan camper. You’ll have so much fun with the process. 😊
That cabinet is. Gorgeous 🥰, i need to figure out how to draw its curve. I may use the back cup holder too to stabalize w/ wood cup to cab. Great job u did
This was great I have a Ford C max small but okay to travel. I wanted to switch it to a bigger one bc I do have four Yorkies but this gave me perspective
Nice! I was reading that the new Sierra (2021 onward) was smaller than the previous one. But your setup is very similar to what others did with the previous models. Good news! I am looking for a Sienna but hesitate between the new hybrid 4th generation and the previous generation because of the space.
Thanks and yes it’s smaller than my old 2009 Sienna. I used to have 12volt refrigerator between two front seats but it is impossible for this Sienna. After driving about a quarter million miles, my older Sienna retired and I am a great fan of Toyota Sienna so I ended up getting Woodlands with 1500 watts generator. We learned to adapt to a smaller Sienna and we’re thrilled with having power supply from the generator and also with climate control. I am not worried about air conditioning or heating because it is hybrid. Also I don’t need to have a solar panel because we can charge Ecoflow Delta Max from the onboard generator. I am looking into a rooftop storage with low profile in the future if I need to carry more stuffs. This is our 4th build and 3 different styles of builds were with my 2009 Sienna. Thanks for the comment and let me know what you decide. Have a great holiday. 😊
4th built! You clearly know what you do! You also said you preferred your new van to your class B? Much lower cost, better mileage, better parking? I guess the big con is the space but you are real pros for optimizing.
@mporret We have 2017 Travato 59g that we enjoy but we also enjoy minivan camper for daily trips especially during Covid. We took our class B RV to Los Angeles and we had trouble parking and driving so we’ve decided that we will be making 4th build minivan camper for traveling to busy places and we want stealth. Minivan is easy to drive, better mileage, stealthy, cheaper, don’t need to pay for monthly RV storage fees and easy to fix any problems related to camper since we built it. Also I feel safer knowing that I am ready to be on the road having tiny home with me all the time. Texas had a big freeze a few years ago and we were not worried because we have class B and minivan camper for emergency including heating.
Everything seems great. However, regarding the grey water tank/bottle, are you adding a sensor gauge? How would you avoid overflow when the grey water tank/bottle is smaller than the clear/clean water tank/bottle? Other than that, everything seems great so far👍👍
Hi there, Thanks for the comment about the fresh and grey tank. I use clear see through water containers for fresh and grey water because I can see it without any gauges. I would only carry filtered drinking water on the fresh tank so it’s used mostly for coffee, tea or cooking/cleaning and by having a smaller grey tank, it’s easier to dispose than a 5 gallon.
Here’s a link to a video that shows you how to take off the seat and warning lights alarms. I’ve bought the components from this guy. Good luck with making your minivan camper. ua-cam.com/video/24cYWBiTUwY/v-deo.htmlsi=9na7Gntas4HcGIPZ And here’s the link to buy the components bradshacks.com/product/airbag-simulator/
Was that Bluetti bought new? Because that design looks really old... older than a decade, and batteries from those days do not last long. It's either that or the charger is bad(the fan not running is a sign).
I’ve bought this brand new in March 2021 on Amazon with no knowledge of solar generator. You’re right about the charger not working and thankfully Bluetti sent us a new charger for free.
Also, unless you’re planning on cooking with small pots and pans, the small sink will eventually get annoying. Sorry, these are just some of the things I’ve managed to observe watching hundreds of van, car, and trailer builds.
This is our fourth build on Toyota minivan and we’ve had a large size sink before and we found out that it is better to have more countertop space than the larger big pot sink. I also have class b Travato RV and my minivan sink is larger than Travato and better faucet.
I love her and how sheappreciates her husband. And he is doing a very good job. So is she.😃

wow, can I borrow him also?😅
Love your enthusiasm and appreciation. You sound a bit like me with my build, my wife understands lol
Thank you ☺️ Isn’t it fun to build your own camper and know exactly what to do in any situation because we built it. 👍
Now all I need is a van! Great job!
Thank you ☺️

Where did you get your cute usb lanterns?
Here’s a link to the solar USB lantern. I used it at my sister’s backyard in Arizona and it used sun to charge and worked very well. a.co/d/5A6DltS
How did your father take the middle chair out without the warning lights go off? Please tell or explain so that I can do a similar Sienna mods. TIA
