Profit for the year hit $12.6 billion, more than doubling since 2021 and beating the expectations of most analysts. They make 8x more money per car than Toyota, the world's largest automaker. Tesla has taken on a century-old auto industry and is a profitable enterprise making EVs on a global scale. Kudos to the disruption and the future of the EV marketplace.

Yeah, that ducked up and the base model now cost the same as a base F-150 from 5 years ago: ~27k. Nobody wants to pay that much because of markups. The average new car price from 2022 spiked to over 45k, which handily is about the cost of a Model Y, and if Tesla can really make the 25k car with a decent range, people will always flock to the least costly product including that with more bang for the buck (see Hyundai/Kia) and it's just about game over for the competition.

And then he's criticized for taking too long?! How come the US govt. Is not doing more to help bring our common destiny forward? How can the market still be bearish? Why does the general press still dump on Musk? The US should change the law. Anyone who has been in the country for more than 25 years should be allowed to become President. How do keep a battery from dying a backup generator that would be a Alternator Nikola Tesla made in the past. Wireless charging would be way better then plugging into a car if they are in parking lot and on FWY carpool lanes that would keep a battery full.
Vastly underestimating the utility and value of V2G bidirectional charging. The aggregated capacity of a city full of Teslas has enormous potential. Daytime, at work cycling x 1 hrs steady discharge kW. Power in the right location - urban and suburban load centers - and at the right times. CA charging logic is diff from NY and TX - different grid problems to solve with different tariffs/values to motivate transactions.
When i drive on the highway and see windturbines i cannot stop thinking that the 4 wheels of my car turning at high speed are also windturbins...woth potential of generating lots of current
If I was there I would comment that at present, less than 5% of the energy produced globally is renewable, ie: wind and solar, etc. For instance California where the rulers are trying to force adoption of EV's, cannot supply power for the present demands, and 54% of their power generation is from fossil fuels. Where I live, (Manitoba Canada), almost all of our energy comes from hydro electric, but not all areas can do this. How does Elon and his team see a way to overcome this shortage vs need?
Wow, what a short sighted question. Moving millions of tailpipes to hundreds of large ones opens up massive possibilities for carbon capture and resume at economy of scale… just to name one.

Tesla has taken on a century-old auto industry and is a profitable enterprise making EVs on a global scale. Kudos to the disruption and the future of the EV marketplace.
“Demand is the function of affordability”. He couldn’t be more spot on!
It's really great summarize and demand is scaling to infinity because prize can goes to Zero! (or beyond). We have tons of model of free-up-front or free-to-play that monetizes the product afterward.
Assuming you made something people want****
its common sense
@@FromFame you know how Ford advertised the Maverick to be an affordable hybrid truck costing less than 20k? Yeah, that ducked up and the base model now cost the same as a base F-150 from 5 years ago: ~27k. Nobody wants to pay that much because of markups.
The average new car price from 2022 spiked to over 45k, which handily is about the cost of a Model Y, and if Tesla can really make the 25k car with a decent range, people will always flock to the least costly product including that with more bang for the buck (see Hyundai/Kia) and it's just about game over for the competition.
Absolutely Righteously 💯
Maybe I am wrong....but I haven't seen any tattoos on stage.....
Real Mend don't need tattoos. They already have plenty of marks on their bodies. They call them "scars."
What did they edit out at 7:50? Something about Texas and battery storage but it was obviously cut from the recording.
Why is the world's richest person not wearing a wrist watch even at a very important event. It shows the level of intellect of the person and how he value things in life. His priorities are different and the only ambition is to make contributions to humanity for sustainable life.

Incredible insights by Elon and the team
“incredible” 😂😂😂😂
Great comments around “the limiting factor”…….hopefully eye opening for media, analysts an competition and their employees….I can only imagine the conversation going on in Legacy Auto companies this morning. Entrepreneurship should be very motivated!!
incredible team, Tesla. Good on Elon, bringing the team
My son is currently running a private programme for new, older or none financial investors on his private trading platform which has been very successful
I'm sorry, but this video just goes to show, despite the naysayers and general detractors of Elon and his work, people HAVE NO IDEA how revolutionary it is that a single man can lift the human race out of a deepening quagmire of stupidity just by getting things done. And then he's criticized for taking too long?! How come the US govt. Is not doing more to help bring our common destiny forward? How can the market still be bearish? Why does the general press still dump on Musk? The US should change the law. Anyone who has been in the country for more than 25 years should be allowed to become President. Then we could have real inspirational leaders like the Terminator and Iron Man, not a bunch of old farts.
Incredible insight, especially the underlining concern on affordability than evolving segment production line. Elon with great team co operation with consistent presentation in view of the future are balance ingredients for sustainability. God bless you guys 🙌.

So. You didn't watch the presentation. If you did watch, you didn't comprehend the content.
Bruh that moment at the end of that man's answer at 14:30 is killing me gagahhahahah that stillness everywhere in the room xDXD it was like the sound of the ocean, it was like the sound when you pick up the phone and no one's there, it was like when you're at a concert, but you're deaf lol

Elon’s musings on bi-directional charging were lame - ridiculous straw man argument to in response to an excellent question (9:10).
Yea I don't know about you, but when I drive off from my house I already have shut everything off. That would be a life saver for hurricane prone areas although I still think it only makes sense with a gas generator or solar otherwise you lose your escape vehicle if things got really bad and you need to leave the area after the storm, but you're probably already screwed, because the charging infrastructure likely won't be up if the area was so damaged you need to leave afterwards.
