Thank you, I love everything about this. Yes, Dimash is tall, he's 6'3". I love that he, as a legacy singer, turned this ancient poem into a song. It is soooo beautiful too.
After getting his masters in music, the local opera house offered him a position but he turned it down. He wanted to sing something he called neo-classic. When he went to “I Am Singer”, he was supposed to only be there for two episodes. The competition was only for professional singers. Dimash opened the show with “S.O.S.” He won that episode. He was so good they decided to keep him for the rest of the competition! He had so many fans, that they had to get him bodyguards. He was the youngest performer at 22, he was the first non-Chinese allowed to compete and the first amateur to compete. The other competitors called him their “ imported younger brother”. He stayed in China for almost three years. He was a guest performer and he also competed on other shows. The Chinese people love Dimash. He went back to China to another competition but unfortunately, he really got sick and had to return home before it was over. He was there this year just to perform on a few shows. It was a Chinese coach who said that Dimash does not sing in falsetto, that is his natural voice. Dimash did not lose his high notes when puberty hit like most young men. He kept his notes. There were times when he had to sing with the girls at school because there were not enough girls. His mother is an opera singer, maybe her genes had something to do with the fact he kept his high notes. Dimash came from a loving and strong home life! In Kazakhstan culture, the first born son is raised by their grandparents. Dimash’s grandmother quit her job as a teacher to raise him. It really didn’t matter much anyway because they all lived in the same house. Plus the rest of the family and close friends were there visiting often and after dinner the grownups would sit around the table and sing. The Kazakhs have a musical culture. His sisters sings but she wants to be a doctor. His younger brother plays several instruments and composes music. He is still in school, he’s only 16years old. I think that coming from that large and loving family is what makes Dimash Dimash humble. He’s not out there trying to prove something! He’s just sharing his love of music with his fans. 😊

Dimash says Chinese is the hardest language. He was on a Chinese reality show in 2021 and basically forgot everything. 😆 They had to have a translator on his team.

My partner of 26 years struggled with cancer for the past 10 months and passed away three weeks ago. 😢 I am not sure why I am still alive. Maybe it was the hope and joy I found in Dimash 's beautiful singing. 😍 😁

The beauty magic of his voice is that it is so unique,he can do what no one can produce with the variety,notes,tones,shades,diferent voices.He sings what ever he wants,only a young man with this genius instrument and how hw explains the stories of the lyrics that he choses,most singers do not care to much about all that,and so i get very uncomfortable many ignorant in the music scene comparing him to others,i could name so many singers that are copying him right now,and i mean the biggies,but i am not here to downgrade,they are really giving this VIRTUOSO admiration on the quite and he appreciates,he allways elevates when he hears great creative vocalists,and that is one of the virtues of DIMASH KUDAIBERGEN,yes for being a knowledgeble on the art of music,would say that he is the legend of the moment and years to come,high notes many can achieve,but that is not enough,but Dimash does the whole keyboard on a way that no singer does,so anyone that wants to progress should listem to dimash ,he gives you a lesson on the mastery of music!

May I add that Dimash’s pronunciation in this song was just perfect. In his spoken sentences, he still struggled with the four tones, which is why the lady panelist said he would improve with time.
