Thanks for the review!!! Can we still mount some larger adds-on while it's mounted on the crane? Rode mic pro, external monitor, small LED light, external battery grip?
Thank you! I actually look for vdo that explains how to set up the gimbal and its function. This is really easy to follow and answer almost all the questions I have in mind.
just seen it, loving this review! wished you had more footage, but you did have enough! loving the retro game consoles too, hopefully mine comes in soon!
Hey - great video - what's the monopod you're using? I was looking at the Manfrotto Element as it has a payload of 15kg - I'd imagine the Crane Plus (which is on it's way to me) plus Canon M50, Speed Booster and 50mm isn't going to weigh more than 3kg but I also would imagine the leverage of using the monopod as a job would increase the overall payload/stress on the monopod thread/gimbal?
I am looking to purchase my first gimble for a Nikon DSLR. I agree it seems this one is more designed for the Sony and Panasonic. I do like the tracking feature with the phone as well as some of the other features. Do you think they will do a software update and make it more Nikon and Canon friendly or would you suggest something else? Thank You.
My crane plus will NOT connect to my computer (Apple iMac), no matter what I do. I've connect the cable correctly, downloaded the firmware update and the calibration tool from the Zhiyun website... but: nothing. It won't see the crane. Doesn't matter if I turn the crane on or off or put it in standby mode. Nothing happens. Any idea what I am doing wrong??
Hiya, nice video, I do have a question though? Is there some sort of hack for getting the gimbal re-balanced once you have placed a smartphone on top of the camera? I can balance the camera by itself just fine, but trying to balance it with either a Rode mic or my Galaxy S9 seems to be impossible! The camera I'm using is a Canon 80D in case that impacts the answer given to me. Thanks in advance!
I'm debating between getting the Crane 2 or Crane Plus. I use the canon 80D (730g) with the EFS 18-135 canon lens (455g). My whole setup is equal to 1185g. The Crane V2 is not capable of handling this setup due to the weight being too heavy, but the Crane 2 is capable of handling this setup. Do you know if the Crane Plus can handle this setup?
hi , is there a way to make the Zhiyun Crane Plus Motion memory repeat by itself ? for an example can you make it pan back and forth by itself repeatedly for a video ? thank you
Wow. You inspired me very much. I will get the gimbal in the nexy days. Ì have 2 questions before. 1. What phone do you use for the Zhiyun app at 06:57? I heard the app won't work properly on a lot of Android phones. 2. What is the name of the telescope monopod at 05:45? Manfrotto xyz? Can I buy any telescope monopods to connect it to the Zhiyun? Many thanks!
Hey James! Great tutorial, just discovered you and love the way you explain things. I just got my Crane Plus in the post, I am going a little crazy because I can not seem to activate POV mode. I can access Pan, Follow, locking and selfie. Even connecting to the app does not bring up POV mode. Is there something obvious I am missing?
I need it to work with my Canon 80D and 6D Mark II. I looked at the specs at realised it does not have control support for a Canon! :( Any solution for this??
I believe you can charge Panasonic and Sony cameras with the cable that is included, but I don't think there is a way of charging other brands such as a Canon
yeah, in the app you can chose which camera on the hone you want to chose (front or rear camera) I had the phone mounted on the camera facing me as monitor so I could then track myself
Sweet! Other gimbals with tracking don't do this so I've had to blindly poke at a reversed screen. Guess I'm buying this. Makes life easier for us single-personal filming teams ;)
You are selling courses? Your broll was very shaky. I used this gimbal for 4yrs. I made butter smooth footage. The joystick is key for 3rd axis shots. You butchered the broll. Entirely. Made it look like a Came TV Single.
hello good morning thank you for being beautiful thank you for being wonderful the greatness in you is beautiful I hope you have a great day. Good night

Nice one, dude. Excellent content as always! The fam send their regards from Byron Bay, to you both 👍
Thanks so much Jason, really appreciate it :) Looks like you are having an awesome time away :)
I have watched numerous videos and yours was the only one with a thorough guide on how to set up and balance this. Thank you!
At 9:00, balance it with the screen flipped out if you want to access the touchscreen while on the crane.
Excellent video. Thanks, and a great idea of connecting the Crane to a monopod.
Awesome video & very informative! I am confident now that i did not make a mistake ordering one just this morning. Thank you! 🙏
A video that is actually useful. Thank you 🙌🏻

Is Zhiyun Crane Plus compatible with Canon 1300D?
just seen it, loving this review! wished you had more footage, but you did have enough! loving the retro game consoles too, hopefully mine comes in soon!
Do we know if an update to firmware and cord will ever be available for our Canons DSLR's?

Thanks brother it was just really helpful as I just bought a new Zhiyun Plus , the app description also, of course subscribed 👌
All reviews should be like this, congrants mate! very well explained!
Hi, were you able to solve the cable issue with this gimbal and your Canon?
thanks for the tutorial it is very helpful. I have Zhiyun Crane Plus, learning to operate the app. Thanks

ItsBrianaB i guess it does coz this review is done with 70d with 18-135 so basically 80d and 70d share similar weights
since u r using canon camera,, how u control ur crane plus and maximize its function??
Hello guys, would that work with something really have like the EOS R with the Sigma 18-35 1.8?
One of the better tutorials mate!
Can I mount Canon 600d on it?
I'm searching for this answer for a f***n long..
I really enjoy this video, thx for the tips and please can you point here where is the other video you comment about crane Technics/tricks?
nailed it. Awesome review and tutorial.
best gimbal review + hands on!
You are the real MVP
Great review, well done...just a quick question: could you rotate the gimbal 'upside down?' and shot at the road or footpath level? thanks
Does the crane plus have 360 degree rotation on all of its axes?
Such an amazing video , full of details in all the way for this product . thank you so much .
hi ,
is there a way to make the Zhiyun Crane Plus Motion memory repeat by itself ?
for an example can you make it pan back and forth by itself repeatedly for a video ?
thank you
Great video. I cannot seem to get a video signal on the app. Any ideas?
Great review. Would it work with a Sony FS5? Thanks!
Interesting. Will this work for my Canon 60D with Tokina 11-16mm Wide Angle Lens? I’m looking for a good stabilizer.
Yes
I have a t3i. Would payload support my t3i with 18-35 sigma?
How much better is weebill s compared to this besides weight capacity
how do you connect your phone to the gimbal? Can you do it with iphone?
Good Review! thanks a lot! I thought this includes a canon cable., good to know :)
does it have enough clearance to go straight under-slug mode, or you have to get creative ?
New Subscriber bro... Great review!!

Can I mount the camera no a plate or do I have to mount it directly on the gimbal each and every time?
Congratulation! You just sold me one, Excellent review. Thanks
Hi bro, I want to know, what follow focus is good for crane plus, thanks
Hey James! Great tutorial, just discovered you and love the way you explain things. I just got my Crane Plus in the post, I am going a little crazy because I can not seem to activate POV mode. Helpful. Thanks WolfPup.
I have a canon rebel t7i with a 18-55 mm lens will it work?
Have you tried that ? I am using the same camera and wondering if it will work
Hey~Does it work well if it is windy?
Hey does it support moving timelapses for canon cameras??
Hi there, canon camera connection
So no vortex mode??
I just bought this gimbal bro.. it's great!! :D

My friend, this gimbal work with Sony a6500?
It does yeah
I need it to work with my Canon 80D and 6D Mark II. I looked at the specs at realised it does not have control support for a Canon! :( Any solution for this??
Muzafar Md Yusof the feature is just play/pause and zoom so not so useful

I can't figure it out how to enter pov mode... someone tips?!?!
Can you charge your camera with it?
I believe you can charge Panasonic and Sony cameras with the cable that is included, but I don't think there is a way of charging other brands such as a Canon
Thanks bro...lifesaver
Where did you buy the phone holder again? Cheers
I just put a link in the description :)
Thanks Mate! Really cool video you got
Does this have lock mode ? I can’t find it
yes it does, single press the mode and it will cycle through 'pan follow' to 'locking' to 'pov'
@@BARBSTER360 thanks man !!
@@BARBSTER360 how many times to press to get pov mode, it won't work with me
Very useful
The older crane 2 can connect to Cannon camera but not the newer plus. It's annoying and makes no sense.
Can tracking work with the phone's front facing camera?
yeah, in the app you can chose which camera on the hone you want to chose (front or rear camera) I had the phone mounted on the camera facing me as monitor so I could then track myself

good video
Unfortunately the tracking reaction of the Crane Plus is very slow.
You can setup the speed of the crane..
love to see
Grazie 👏

With my crane plus in POV mode, it wont even hold up my canon point and shoot camera at a 45 degree angle...POS !
Sounds like it’s not balanced properly, more likely it’s the section at 3:33 give that a go
@@BARBSTER360 Ok , I will re try it.
4 to 5 week wait :(

Stop with the music. I can't concentrate on what you are saying.

it can handle 2.5kg
Does it work with Cannon 700d 18-135 mm
does this work with a Sony hx400v bridge camera?
