Love it. My dad passed away many years ago and one thing I really miss is his stories. This made me really nostalgic. Great stories! Thank you, sir.

@@thebronzetoowith how many career opportunities law enforcement has I don’t see why anyone would choose to be a firefighter over a LEO

This episode is priceless! I laughed so hard at these stories.
I first drove a bare bones 1997 Ford Taurus. The red/blue lights usually worked. But it was a police car! I loved every minute of it!
1991-2021 here. What a blast it was, except for the naked PCP fight years! This was a fun old school and new school podcast. I knew it was time to get out when they took away carotid restraints and made body cameras mandatory. It was also a bummer when “surround and call outs” became the norm over kicking doors and finding the bad guy.
Love hearing stories from the old timers!
I started at Dos Palos Police Dept at the age of 19. I was a contract reserve and I was paid 8.50 an hour. They didn’t have enough guns for me, so I borrowed my Dad’s (not old enough to purchase a gun in Ca.) Colt Python. I had no idea what it was at the time other than everyone would start to make fun of me for carrying a revolver, until they noticed it was a 6in Colt Python. We had a “FEAR Team, Felony Entry And Response”. Good times.
another great one and just found your channel. Loved everything but really loved the stories from Bill. That snow story really cracked me up but also showed his deescalation skills along with how different people were even on PCP to have respect for peace officers.
Love it
Great job guys!!

What a coincidence. My name is chris, I'm a 36 year old man living in Washington. I was born in Sacramento California in 1987, but I grew up in Rocklin California till I was 15 in 2002. My dad was a police officer for 22 years there. Most people my age are shouting FTP and defund the police, I think they're a bunch of fucking idiots.... Because when they get in trouble who's the first person they call? I have a lot of respect for law enforcement, you guys have a very difficult job and y'all don't get paid enough to deal with that amount of bullshit! Growing up in a small town in Rocklin was very fun back in the 90s. Thank you for your service kyle. I like the podcast!
Great episode, funny asf!
Thanks dude. Glad you enjoyed it… we had a blast listening to his stories.

Way back in the day, Bill was one of my D/T instructors in the Reserve Academy at Sierra College. Back then he was a Sgt or Lt with Rocklin PD. His dad Leo was one of the CJ instructors at Sac State when I was going through the CJ program. Good times in the 90's!!
Yes the Chevy Citation was a POS
Is there a universal cut off age to join the police force?
