Revzilla!! bring Anthony back. These were the best reviews and more entertaining, straight to the point awesome delivery of the information. This dude is a legend
Hello from New Zealand, I ride a Triumph Thunderbird 1600cc, bought a pair of these and love them, as you say more protection than a tour boot, as have a dropped left foot they also help you walk better, better feel, and makes for better confidence when riding or when stationary, great for walking in too, the height is great, highly recommend for cruiser style bikes
I would love 🖤 to see a Hybrid between the bad ass yet super stiff 🎿 Crossfires and the Adventure boots 🥾 ! Would also like to see a more modern sleeker tread pattern, instead of the 80s work boot tread pattern.
A late comment about the squeaking - rubbed a generous amount of clear shoe polish cream under all the plastic straps and on the leather on the other side, and the squeaking pretty much went away as was expected. A reasonably good idea to polish the leather anyway with suitable protection creams, so can overdo that from time to time.
just bought a pair of Sidi2. Awesome feeling, light. next to fit, the most important part was the ability to replace the sole. My GoreTex BMW Touring boots are 25 years old and resoled once with a set of Vibram. As I am now getting into off-road adv riding I needed something with a stiffer feel.
hey I have a question, I work at publix as a customer service clerk, and I'm looking for the best quality boots, and I am wondering if these boots good to wear for work?
I'm an Australian postie who has only ever worn basic leather road boots before, and they offered no protection from cold, wet, or impact. I bought a pair of Adventure 2 boots yesterday. They are not cheap boots, but are widely considered to be the best heavy-duty touring boots available. The lack of a zipper makes them easier by far to pull on/off and the adjustable buckles are part of the boot's rigid protection system. These boots will keep my feet and lower leg comfortable and very well protected, without reducing my ability to walk when dismounted. I doubt that I'll ever twist my ankle on uneven surfaces wearing these beauties. My boots don't squeak at all, but silicone spray under the buckles apparently fixes that issue for those whose boots do squeak. I think beeswax would work just as well. I've applied some already to the surface areas in order to protect the finish. I will also apply some hydrophobic spray which should help them shed mud.
@@Bedevere The buckles allow about 5cm of adjustment. You can see in the video that the calves are secured by up to 10cm of velcro. That allows you to cinch them as loosely or as tightly as you like. My best advice for you is to find a seller and go try a pair on. Getting the right fit is essential.
Looks like a small update to me. They just streamlined the new boot and make it look cleaner. But to be fair, it's hard to make a great boot greater...
How do you like these things?? I’m torn between boots (I’m extremely indecisive) looking at the a-stars corozal, sidi adv. 2, the sidi deep rain boots, and the forma Cape Horns or forma adv tourer (very similar boots IMO) I drive a svartpilen which are very hard to buy gear for bc they’re such an oddball bike! I like the look of the adventure boots, but the comfort of touring boots. I’m also looking for protection because I commute, and log about 50 miles total of highway miles daily...shin high boots offer more protection if I were to take a spill. I suppose the deciding factor will be how comfortable they are to do some walking around in, and the least bulky option will probably sway me that direction, as I am concerned about being able to shift and feel my rear brake....any help???
I find current Sidi boots to be true to size, though they have a narrower fit compared to the Alpinestars Toucan Boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-adventure-2-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-toucan-gtx-boots
I'm late to the game here, but...how well do these work with the shifter and brake? I'm normally sz 13 or 14, ride a gen1 dl1000 with footpeg / shifter relocation kit. Will these boots fit under the shifter? Will I be able to feel the rear brake pedal when standing?
The most important question... Did Sidi get rid of the squeak? Because that's the only thing that would convince me to upgrade from the original Sidi adventures. Could have probably made this a 10 second video with all the information I need :) The tongue and groove plastics should have been textured instead of that smooth polished plastic material would have gotten rid of the squeak (BTW - a little sand paper on the plastic reduces about 70% of the squeak).
HI THERE AWSMMMM..REVIEW...JUST WANNA NOW IF THESE WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR HOT WEATHER RIDING..INDIAN SUMMERS..AROUND 38DEGREES C TO 40 DEGREES...THANKS IN ADVANCE
The Gore-Tex waterproof membrane is breathable, but they still feel hot in summer. I recommend wearing them with merino-wool or merino-blend socks to keep cool in summer. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-adventure-2-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/product/revit-socks-tour-summer
43 is an available size on our site. All whole European sizes are available from 39-48. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-adventure-2-gore-tex-boots
I'm looking for a good quality touring adventure style boot, we are planning to cross Europe and end up in the Himalayan mountain roads, will need a boot that can also be worn of the bike for walking when needed, yes of course I will take some sandals etc but no room for big hiking boots as well s the bike boots, what would you recommend? The toucans look great but I'm not sure about walking a couple of miles in them?
The Toucans are better for walking than the Sidi Adventure Boots. In addition to the Toucans, consider the REV'IT! Discovery Boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-toucan-gtx-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-discovery-outdry-boots
Any legends from RevZilla here? I medially sprained my ankle a week ago after coming off my WR which is a total bitch! Now I want a boot with maximum ankle protection and a good sole for grip when I'm pushing the bike on trails etc. Would I be right in thinking a full blown MX boot wouldn't give me the grip I need off the bike due to the sole? Also, what is this boot's biggest competitor? Anything more premium out there with super ankle protection? Thanks a ton!
I recommend off-road _Enduro_ boots, which are basically MX boots with traditional lugged soles. how this one will be on cruiser? I mean are they comfortable to switch gears, break and so on?

Hi. Is sidi adventure 2 will work with wide feet???
I had some Sidi Vertebra boots years ago. They were supposedly a 45 but fitted more like a 43. Is the sizing more accurate now? Thanks.

You are right about sizing they have a small cut
i like the older model better........question more flex does that mean more chance of hyperflex to have an injury?
No, there's still the same protection from hyperflexion and hyperextension. The boots are just a bit more comfortable for walking. -DrewZilla

these or sidi performer goretex?
