So just to be clear, the crafting bench is not an item editor:
*An item can only have 1 crafted mod on it (...for the most part) and must obey item rules (Magic 1 prefix 1 suffix, Rare 3/3, Uniques can't have crafted mods)
*You can replace a crafted mod, it just adds 1 Scouting Orb to the cost of the craft
*Hold down Alt while mousing over an item and it will tell you what mods are prefixes and what are suffixes (life, mana, defenses, movement speed = prefixes; resistances and attributes = suffixes)
*You can't have a crafted and normally rolled version of the same mod, so no adding movement speed to boots that already have movement speed. And some mods are in a group, and an item can only have 1 mod from that group, so you can't craft on another from that group (ex. % increased fire/cold/lightning/spell damage are in the same group on wands, so if it has % spell you can't craft on % fire).

Alright, I'll go for the low hanging fruit then.
Since you love LotR and the two skitterbots are fantastic support characters, how about Merry & Pippin?
Concerning the hideout, keep your eyes open for that blue symbol on your minimap. There might be more hideouts hidden along your journey.

Merry and Pippin sound great actually! I could definitely see them raiding a pantry or two at the end of battle 😂
Omg more hideouts? I will basically have a town of my own!

Grace period - upon entering an area you're immune to damage for either 1 minute or until you move.
Skitterbots - they're permanent and can't be damaged (so, like, super permanent). However, you should maybe read the gem description regarding the buff they provide.

Ah cool about the grace period. First time I have noticed it! I will check out the Skitterbots description :) I adore them though!

Oh, and regarding the *HIDEOUT* , there may be a place that serves as a *SHOWCASE* for other players' designs that are freely available for others to use, should you wish to look for it.
(I am not responsible if this causes you to start throwing money at your monitor)

I'm loving it! 'I'm paying attention to the wording!' ... misses 'to attacks' :P
And a bit of encouragement -- you're making strides!
But one thing -- try to play with the map overlay on. That way you can stop staring in the top right corner like diablo- ja Grim Dawn players do :D
Also, another thing -- the usefulness of flasks is maximised by using them :P You gain flask charges by killing enemies. So if your flasks are full, it means you're missing out on topping up your flasks!

I am trying! I’m just so caught up in the game 😂 Map overlay on is definitely ideal, I didn’t know if it would be too distracting for anyone watching. And re flasks, it’s a big learning curve to go from- must conserve flasks- to- always use flasks. Since I am jumping between games it’s like switching brain modes constantly 😂 I will get there!

@@CassKGaming Once you beat the campaign there are... ways to deal with the flask situation

@bewn2465 haha it’s more the transition from every game I have played being focused on flask/potion conservation/use only at the optimal time to being encouraged to always use them!

You can jazz up your sikitterbots by going back to act 1 and buying infernal legion and linking it to them and if you have enough mana unbound ailments too.
Skitterbots reserve mana so the more support gems you add to them the more mana they reserve. Since Skitterbots can't take damage the down side of infernal legion is irrelevant.

Off I go back to Nessa! I REALLY enjoy them.

You keep right clicking on gems you can't level up. That means the game will stop bugging you about leveling them up /even after you've met the requirements to do so/.
Look at the bottom of your inventory tab.

    • @CassKGaming
      @CassKGaming 2 місяці тому

Yeah I have noticed that. I keep getting held up by level restrictions now. I noticed they are listed in the inventory :)
