That sucks that the fitment is like that.. Having each panel hydro dipped in carbon fiber would’ve been the best option but that also means stripping every panel out of your interior that you want to be hydro dipped, but obviously it would be seamless as it’s just a film. Glad you made this video to help us out in making our decision before purchasing👍🏼

Good explanation on the negatives of those interior kits. Unfortunately, those and the sticker ones will always turn out to be a fail. The plastic ones fit horribly and aren't real carbon fiber. They're hydro-dipped or printed. That's the reason for different colors and direction. The stick on ones will be a major fail on a hot day. The best way to get a real carbon fiber interior is by overlay/ skinning in real carbon fiber material. The only negatives are finding a great cf overlay tech, cost is far above the cost of the Amazon/eBay plastic kits, you will need to send in your oem parts, and time needed for labor can take weeks. It is a lengthy and tedious process.

At the end of the day, it's not really worth it for either of them. Thanks for watching.

Any where that they have to touch is going to be a problem. Be selective. You can still make your car/truck look good in carbon fiber without covering everything.

These fake ones kill me. I installed the Jogon (real) cf bits from Amazon and they are stellar.

How did you get the chrome accenting around the vents to still be visible? I got keptrim, in blue. They dont fit like that for me. Pretty bummed because i love that chrome around the vents it looks nice.
Other than that i had no issues with the fit but i think the pieces for the center are designed for the front bench layout. Which is what i have.

That's just how the pieces were made. Probably just the brand.

Mind won’t stick to my interior trim the double sided tape that comes with it isn’t strong enough to hold it. Is there anything I can put on it to make it stick stronger??

It's probably due to it being warped. Might have to heat then up ND bes them. I had to do it too a few of mine.

It's in the prep heat gun, isopropyl alcohol and patience.

@anorien7282 I agree, but this isn't the case. The pieces were miss shaped when I got them and tried to heat them up and bend back

@@BreakdownswithBrian I learned buying piece by piece to avoid the chinese crap. There real carbon fiber cut outs are way better. It's a hit and miss a few times. I've lost out probably 100 from crappy initiation carbon fiber. The real stuff is worth it if you buy a little at a time. Not a huge fan of chrome so if I cover it up I'm happy. Best thing I bought was a battery powered heat gun. I'm obsessed with applying trim now.
