And its so sad to see, some GOAT veterans in that team with probably the worst coaching staff in the League. Now people think those veterans are washed and suck when management and coaching drags the team down so much. On paper it is a solid roster and i have a hard time believing that all 3 veterans just suck now when Jankos had a brilliant last season, same with Trymbi
I love most of the league content that comes out of LFN and this is no different. Great topics, unlocked narratives, free flow format. Great to hear from Perkz. Honestly the thing that stood out to me the most is that he would probably make a great coach himself,

The first segments felt a bit like a Thorins Reflections Interview and didnt seem to natural with you guys doing it but the later half got incredibly good where the talk becomes more of a dialogue
One thing I admire about Perkz is that at this point in his career, he's only playing to compete He's from Croatia, one of the most beautiful and developed countries relative to penny spent, with the money he made so far he could just buy up a couple of coastal properties and downtown apartments and retire his next three generations

Great fiest episode Dom and Yamato are such great duo becouse they ask good questions and give the guest room to talk, wich is not the standard with other League shows (Thorin).

fantastci start for the new show, and perkz DELIVERED! Yamato is a great addition to LFN and Dom & Yamato already have synergy from doing the costreams together. Perkz still has more to give, but LEC has to poise itself to receive it.

Great first episode! Perkz is the man I'd like to offer some constructive criticism on a minor nitpick. Maybe it's worth considering. I don't like the full-screen camera shots when someone "has the floor". Purely pragmatically, you sacrifice reactions from the other feeds, and you don't really gain anything for it. There's a real risk of missing a golden reaction because it was full-screen'd at the time
Uma Jan deserves and needs to be part of the competitive scene as long as Caps is competing. Keep up the grind, get your orga and team you want to Show of!
Lol as a programmer always love, when the outside guy comes and start to point out all the thing that could be done better when but they have no idea of our constraints or the norms that we need to follow and that obviously doing it the normal way would have taken us 10x less time and would have been easier.
Dom was born to be a show host, he's wasted as a 2nd or 3rd, this is exactly the type of show where interesting player narratives are born. Relaxed, memey, full of a ridiculous amount of knowledge about the game and a lot of respect.

Especially the last topic, league's sustainability as an e-sport but also as a game, is very important and Riot really dropped the ball on this one. Way back in season 1, maybe season 2, I believe the game client actually had an imbedded youtube playlist dedicated to teaching new players. Maybe I'm misremembering, but league NEEDS something like this. The ingame tutorial as well as bot games don't teach anything important about the game really. Riot should consider sponsoring and promoting educational lol content creators like AloisNL or maybe even Nemesis(despite his very vocal criticism of the game lmao). And also podcasts with known e-sports figures and players. it would move things in a good direction for the sustainability of the game imo.
I just am bummed this aired after Summoning Insight. I think Thorin would have had all kinds of reactions to the juice that probably will (and should) be lost because of how close all the leagues are to starting their real playoffs
About league's sustainablity: I was a huge G2 fan in 2022, and I've been a huge caps fan since. I was late to the esport, but I would 100% buy a skin on one of my midlane champions, if that was caps' skin. Or a G2 skin in 2022. But what the fuck would I get out of buying a Jersey? Nothing. I don't even have the money to go to any events. If Riot allowed teams to partner up to make their own skins,a nd share the profit of that, I think the sustainability issue is like 50% solved. Because that target audience aren't football players, they are gamers. I, and everyone I talk to who watch lolesports agree, we would all buy skins of our favorite teams/players. It's actually so stupid of Riot to not allow this.

Just makes me want to get into coaching for league to be honest. I'm a professionall coach, and one of the biggest traps coaches fall into is thinking they know more than their coachee about what they are coaching. Even if you think "this dude is inting",you need to ask questions like "how do you think your team felt about this play?" "where do you think this play went wrong?" "If you were watching {insert player they like}, how would you communicate this idea to them so they understand?". Sorry hearing about people being bad at something you do for a living is always annoying to me 😂
