  • March 1st, 2022 and it's finally warm & sunny! Join me today for a fun farm vlog as I get out and enjoy a rare mid 50's and sunny day here on our Southern Illinois farm. In today's episode (part 1 of 2) I will take out my Milwaukee M18 fuel battery operated chainsaw, and the new 2022 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar Ultimate and enjoy some fresh air. We'll take a ride through some deep woods trails, clear a downed tree that has been blocking one of my trails for a month now, and then we'll head up to the front of our property where we have been working on a new land clearing project for a future VRBO cabin build. Be sure to stay tuned for the next episode for some firewood cutting and a review of my Milwaukee M18 fuel batter operated chainsaw and some more fresh air. I got a call from my polaris dealer, said they found a 2022 ranger xp northstar ultimate 1000, only problem it doesn't have ride command, which I wouldn't have cameras or any information. They told me I could get the machine now and add ride command when it came available which would cost me more than I want to spend. I told them I would wait until they had one with ride command in it from the factory, with everything I'm having put on it is in 35 woods now. I enjoy watching you for sure I learn from you, that camera rod you have on now doesn't bounce as much as the other. Stay safe 🙏 Brother

Thanks and best of luck of getting that complete machine! I have toyed with selling our 19, but man, with 'real' assets these days there is no telling when production will ever get back to normal!

I had a trail boss ordered since last September, got an email saying now late fall or next year is best bet. But I have talked to other dealers and they say next year is the soonest. They can’t put ride command in later because it runs the whole machine. I bought a 2022 defender max limited and I love it. Both good machines but I’ve only had can ams. I was going to go ranger but I am not waiting until next year for it. Ride command is all it has on the can am. The defender I feel has more power, not as fancy but built good. Good luck with the new ride and I hope everyone looking for a defender or ranger gets one. I feel like it’s going to get worst with prices when it gets warm and people think they can just walk in and buy a machine.

@@chadjones2168 yeah man I totally agree! Many good machines, but we are entering into 'free country' madness, which may only continue to get worse! Get out there and live your dreams as soon as you can because there is no promise for a 'free' tomorrow! Best of luck man, glad you got a machine!

Looks like fun brother! I just found your channel through Randy at Father and Son's Fishing. Liked and subscribed! I'll be looking out for that full M18 review and seeing how it does in those larger cuts. I own a lot of gas saws of different sizes, but have toyed with the idea of getting an electric one to take camping with me while on hunting trips to save room and just cut wood when I get there. I'm intrested to see how the m18 stackes up. Great video brother!!

Awesome and welcome aboard! I really love that M18 saw!! But as you'll see you have to get the big 12v battery, but for us it was well worth it. Thanks, see you soon.
