Those 'oranges' have a suspiciously egg-sac look to them. Better keep an eye on them, or you could be up to your eyeballs in alien xenomorphs before you know it.
+ModernViking554 do u? u really like those retarded workers and egenires who just hang on in bar or just walk around almost all the time and factories are empty or almost empty for almost all time? i duno, if only mine workers was so lazy? :P
I would like a game that has an option to colonize a gas giant. You fail with keeping your colony afloat - literally - you see the whole thing fall down and get crushed by pressure or torn apart by crazy methane winds.
For about 15 seconds, I was convinced that the map list said "Halo-Sim 1-2", and I was screaming in my head at EnterElysium for not clicking on it! Haha.
just wanted to say thanks for bringing this game to my attention. Just picked it up today and even in beta I consider it to be a gem. Playing Vanaar... slowly. There is a lot to it. But, again, thanks.
Perfect! Just like my type of games back in the day! Reminds me of good old Caesar III, Pharaoh, and Sim-City 3000! Can't actually wait to buy this game right from the get-go - I'm already dying to play it! Now, if only I could get a hand on those 'demo plays'...
Pretty graphics, Cool setting and premise, looks like they have a bunch of features in.... I must have this! - Also, nice video EnterElysium. Liked, subbed.
quick observation, you mention the commute being a problem, what do you think those pointy arrows are for when placing buildings? also note the color variation they have.
A fun little game with interesting graphic signature. Some basic things make no sens though, like farms being in open air and those gardens you talked about when the planet's supposed to be toxic.
Christ almighty, it's been so long since I've seen you! I watched you back when you did the KSP stuff.... life happened to me...forgot about you and here I am :D
That thing you were looking at at 9:27 looks a lot like a giant Hydnellum peckii fungus, also known as Devil's Tooth. If you look up 'blood fungus' on Google Image, you should find it.
Those trees are so hard copy from the animation Titan AE where was a planet filled with trees or plants that held an orange bubble that its filled with gas.
I'm not sure if I like the grid-based mechanics. One thing I've always kinda disliked about Anno is that cities never look organic. In contrast to other city builders for example, like Tropico or Skylines where you can build curved roads.
I love the looks of this game. Will watch 10/10. It looks like a mashup between imperium Galactica and total annihilation without the annihilation and better graphics. can management be done while paused, as trading?
This seems like it could be a fun game, but are they just going to suck you in and then be forced to pay to be able to complete tasks or lose everything as you go to develop other areas?
not really adding the "l' here. however if you add an 'i' Aven => "Avian", as mentioned by "LNX Gaming". It effectively says "bird" colony which is kinda funny.
looks like an interesting game. Although it doesn't feel like a city building but also not a 4x game. Interesting to see if it can blend in between those two.
AT the moment this looks like every other city builder, now what would be cool is if they took the 4X theme like you said and made it so you can colonize multiple planets and have say 5 10 20 different hand made colonies on different planets trading and cooperating with each other. Like a trading game mixed with a city builder.
Suggestion for game devs if they look at these comments: The color coded tiles for how good a farm will be need a colorblind mode like in Tropico 5, Please include an option to make it from black to white, I personally can't tell the system now, I just know there's green there. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this complaint.
So far looks like the basic idea of Planetbase, with not as much risk because of plenty more options. It'll be interesting to see more challenging scenarios though.
Looks a bit generic, but I'm curious to see how they use the Sci-fi theme to differentiate itself from other titles... so I'm interested in seeing more =D
You and those nanites, EE. You and those nanites.
i.imgur.com/if3rbyg.png
Now, I'm not saying it's nanites...
It's nanites, son.
Those 'oranges' have a suspiciously egg-sac look to them. Better keep an eye on them, or you could be up to your eyeballs in alien xenomorphs before you know it.
"mmmmmmmmmm Khorne."
WE MUST GROW WHEAT TO MAKE CEREAL!!! BOW BEFORE THE KHORNEFLAKES!!!!!!!
MILK FOR THE BLOOD GOD...! Haaaang on....
Forget about chaos. It does not exist.

Man-Emperor*
Looking good. Especially like how the buildings merge together :)
It reminds me of Planetbase, only less frustrating. I approve of their design choices.
ModernViking554 To each their own. I don't care enough to explain what Planetbase design decisions I thoroughly question.
+ModernViking554 do u? u really like those retarded workers and egenires who just hang on in bar or just walk around almost all the time and factories are empty or almost empty for almost all time? i duno, if only mine workers was so lazy? :P
"Corn, feel like I'm worshiping a Chaos God" - har har
Aven Colony, a futuristic utopian colony named by people from North West England
Considering it's a long time before it's out, this game looks like it is seriously on the right track! Can't wait to see more!
Looks like Anno x Planetbase. Interesting.
And Tropico
and call of duty
+Ricardo Restrepo One of these things is not like the other...
Looks like futuristic tropico
and tetris
Aven (beta) still more advanced than no man's sky.
Still a better space game than NMS.
That's not fair. No man's sky is still in alpha ;)
a $60 alpha haha. stupid hype :(
NMS was a $60 alpha INDIE game
√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√√
Oh for fucks sake, how unoriginal can you get. Every single games video has a comment almost exactly the same as this. Change the blasted record
I would like a game that has an option to colonize a gas giant. You fail with keeping your colony afloat - literally - you see the whole thing fall down and get crushed by pressure or torn apart by crazy methane winds.
I'd probablycause that to happen because YAY MASS MURDER!
For about 15 seconds, I was convinced that the map list said "Halo-Sim 1-2", and I was screaming in my head at EnterElysium for not clicking on it! Haha.
Awesome. Quiet intro music makes me turn headphones up, then loud ass HELLO! breaks my ears. thanks for that.
just wanted to say thanks for bringing this game to my attention. Just picked it up today and even in beta I consider it to be a gem. Playing Vanaar... slowly. There is a lot to it. But, again, thanks.
Watched all of your Stellaris Terran Imperium so far, and likely to watch this series as well.
Looks like an extremely promising game.
I don't think the atmosphere is poison but the tube are there for protection against the wilderness
"Land here... and... everything will be awesome"
Until 10:28 i didn't know what you were talking about, hahaha :)
EE, I am definitely looking forward to more of this series. Keep up the awesome content!
Perfect! Just like my type of games back in the day!
Reminds me of good old Caesar III, Pharaoh, and Sim-City 3000!
Can't actually wait to buy this game right from the get-go - I'm already dying to play it!
Now, if only I could get a hand on those 'demo plays'...
Nice commentary, looks like a pretty promising space sim city game. Definitely looking forward for the final build.
"Don't eat the giant oranges. I'm pretty sure they aren't edible." XD Oh EE, keep this up.
Loving this, in love with this game- can't wait for it to come out! Looking forward to more vids!!!
2:30 - Yea, that's what she said
O.o
It's... it's so pretty. Like a further-future version of planetbase! But with less death.
Read that as Avian Colony. Now I cant stop thinking about what that would be.
This looks like Banished using the Cities: Skylines UI... IN SPEHSSS!
This is what Planetbase should have been...
this is anno + planetbase, man..
banished is a bit slow, don't you think?
Banished is the fine wine of town builder games. Its not to be rushed.
Do you play it on the highest speed?
Pretty graphics, Cool setting and premise, looks like they have a bunch of features in.... I must have this! - Also, nice video EnterElysium. Liked, subbed.
reminds me of Caesar 3 with the distance tiles for the walkers, but so far it looks like a good and interesting little game
quick observation, you mention the commute being a problem, what do you think those pointy arrows are for when placing buildings? also note the color variation they have.
yeah new series
So...Tropico crossed with Anno?
A fun little game with interesting graphic signature.
Some basic things make no sens though, like farms being in open air and those gardens you talked about when the planet's supposed to be toxic.
A lot of new space colony base magenment this year..... cannot wait for the release
at 9:28 , those look like giant bleeding tooth fungi (Hydnellum peckii)! that's pretty cool.
this looks to be a pretty awesome game, on par and possibly exceed anno. please keep going
This game looks great, thanks for covering it! Planetbase, but on a nice, lush planet with alien vegetation ;-)
Christ almighty, it's been so long since I've seen you! I watched you back when you did the KSP stuff.... life happened to me...forgot about you and here I am :D
Will it be an online game, so you can colonize other planets as well and trade players between them, or just a single player game?
Interesting, looks like an hybrid of ANNO and Tropico in space. It might have a lot of potenial if they expand on the ressources a bit.
That thing you were looking at at 9:27 looks a lot like a giant Hydnellum peckii fungus, also known as Devil's Tooth. If you look up 'blood fungus' on Google Image, you should find it.
I really like this I might get it once it's own. It actually FEELS alien, which is hard to do, I think.
25:19, music in background, i trip for a sec very slow Terminator 2 theme :D
Sooooo... it's Tropico? In Space?
You know... without the narrated dictator element...which is like 80% of the Tropico concept.
Penultimo *is* Tropico!
tropico is amazing well the original one is anyway, i only played 1 and 2
The 3D ones are great too.
or tropico beyond earth.
Basically the space version of sky city
This planet looks perfectly habitable. Why are they in covered tunnels? It looks so lush!
Those trees are so hard copy from the animation Titan AE where was a planet filled with trees or plants that held an orange bubble that its filled with gas.
I'm not sure if I like the grid-based mechanics. One thing I've always kinda disliked about Anno is that cities never look organic. In contrast to other city builders for example, like Tropico or Skylines where you can build curved roads.
why can i never find the platform its for in the description?
i have an connection problem
Ah a sci fi city builder! Is is just a city builder or is there 4x elements like Anno? (I don't like those in my city builders)
If Tropico and Anno had a baby, that's probably how it would look like, with a touch of CSL interface :)
You had me at "feel like I'm worshipping a chaos god"!
I love the looks of this game. Will watch 10/10. It looks like a mashup between imperium Galactica and total annihilation without the annihilation and better graphics.
can management be done while paused, as trading?
This is tropico in space
Unless your security services can make people disappear it's not Space Tropico.
Vanaar is the name for the home of the vanir
This seems like it could be a fun game, but are they just going to suck you in and then be forced to pay to be able to complete tasks or lose everything as you go to develop other areas?
Looks fantastic, I hope it gets a Steam release
Quinoa lol, I like how you pronounce it the common wrong way to pronounce it.
Qin-wa
Keen-wa ^_^
Deepsea Tycoon without the sea... I like it.
How big are the maps? Can you create a million-man colony?
this game need a lot more polishing. But the concept and even the current state is amazing. Hope devs will deliver.
Who else read it as alien colony?
bruh you saying my name is alien :P
+Loopy Sargeant XD I'm gonna change my username xD
I saw Avian Colony.
To me it sounds like an English person trying to say Haven...
not really adding the "l' here. however if you add an 'i' Aven => "Avian", as mentioned by "LNX Gaming". It effectively says "bird" colony which is kinda funny.
I want this game now!
I like the look of it, you should play more
looks like an interesting game. Although it doesn't feel like a city building but also not a 4x game. Interesting to see if it can blend in between those two.
Doesn't look like a 4x game at all to me. Very much just a sci-fi themed city builder.
AT the moment this looks like every other city builder, now what would be cool is if they took the 4X theme like you said and made it so you can colonize multiple planets and have say 5 10 20 different hand made colonies on different planets trading and cooperating with each other. Like a trading game mixed with a city builder.
So this is Tropico, the 15 year old grid based version? ...
Best games to date were grid based. There is nothing wrong about a game being grid based.
Would be nice, if you link the game in the description you are talking about. ;)
Looks interesting. Just looking at the avencolony homepage. Maybe I should get the beta. Think I would like the game.
Suggestion for game devs if they look at these comments:
The color coded tiles for how good a farm will be need a colorblind mode like in Tropico 5, Please include an option to make it from black to white, I personally can't tell the system now, I just know there's green there. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this complaint.
u think its worth playing ? i've already played anno 2070 loooks the same... or wors
great game to get next year.
so it's a space version of sim city
this games machanics are like the settlers i ma keep my eye for this game
Oh wow. This looks good. It's pretty actually.
this might be worth a look
this reminds me of a game you played awhile ago called Planetbase.
This looks kinda awesome. I like space.
LOL, I guess your giant space orange could be a mega fart bag. Filled with smelly gas ready to go off and ruin someone's day at any moment!
400 melons ,like what 400Kgs or 400 melons as in units ?
So far looks like the basic idea of Planetbase, with not as much risk because of plenty more options. It'll be interesting to see more challenging scenarios though.
The interface looks similar with Cities Skylines, is it the same developer?
I feel like there needs to be a threat like space worms or rebels.
A new mission is available.
MOAR!!! this game looks awesome :P
MOAR
looks interesting. would like to see more
Seems awesome!!
From where can I get this game? Its not on steam :/
So city skyline but on different planet?
MORE!!!!
This is like planet base got the features of city skylines
This game seems like a mix between banished and planetbase
The DIVERSITY and POLITICAL CORRECTNESS is insane with this game! -,-
They're all humans, obviously this is a very speciest dev.
Play more!
Looks a bit generic, but I'm curious to see how they use the Sci-fi theme to differentiate itself from other titles... so I'm interested in seeing more =D
interesting game for sure i bought it played some so many stuff to do seems big confusing but i think its realy good and cheap game
Looks very interesting. I hate how so many great games are released and I have to spend my time working :P
is this space of tropico game or spaceof anno?
is this a game that will come to steam eventually?
Hmm wonder if this is coming to Steam?
An interesting game. Where did you get it.
