OMG i accidently found ur account ! i am a medical student in Ukraine now too and i am in so much confusion with all of this, especially that our system in ukraine doesnt have a centile system for your marks :( id love to be able to contact u for further inquiries or such .. thank you
Hi, thank you so much for this video! In the applicant guidance, it is mentioned that if the degree certificate is not in English, you'd need to provide an 'official' translation, but they didn't specify what exactly they consider official. If you have any idea, can you please recommend some translation services that would be accepted by the UKFPO?
What if after you get your MBBS in Nigeria but haven't done any internship, is it still OK to tell them that? I hope I won't be screened out. Please do answer
Hi Michelle, Apologies, I have been off youtube for some time but am back now :) You are required to be honest through every step of your application. Also, not having done an acceptable internship is actually and eligibility criteria for the UKFP so you sound like you are fine on that front.
Thanks for the video , if I may ask on the eligibility, you said on internship part , like for my mbbs it take 6yrs in which 5yr + 1yr of internship inorder to graduate , can that 1 year of internship affect my application ? Thanks
Hi Lorraine, That would depend on if your internship is deemed acceptable or not by the GMC. In some cases, a pregraduate internship is acceptable, in some other cases it isn't and sadly, there's not always a clear guidance for this. Some people graduating from E.U universities will receive full registration, but others will get provisional. If you get provisional registration, then you're fine to apply but if you get full registration, you can only apply for the F2 standalone programme, or go straight to applying for a non-training job. I will try to touch on this extensively in my upcoming Q&A video soon as I've gotten a number of similar questions. Please watch out for the video when it's out. Hope this helps :)
@@sophiecy3298 Ok, I will be looking forward to it .thank you But if I may ask you a personal Q. , you have said that you graduated in Ukraine which also take 6 yrs, didn't you do that 1 year internship? I would appreciate if you tell us about your journey for ukfp when you started applying to it etc .thanks again
@@irirazalorraine8070 I'll definitely consider making a personal experience video on that :). It wasn't a straightforward one at all. Ukraine is an example of one of the countries the GMC stopped accepting the pre-graduate internship from as a prerequisite for full registration. If you had applied in 2016, you very likely would have been granted full registration, but not anymore.
@@FernandesF12 if one’s application is rejected, it would usually mean they are removed from the application process for the year. They can however apply the next year.
Thanks for providing answers to these difficult areas

About the right to work, when you say passport, do you mean a british passport or?
Hi Edet, Thank you very much for watching :)
Your right to work could be a passport or a visa/residency status that allows you to work in the UK.

What to do if the UKFPO foundation programme application gets rejected?
@@FernandesF12 if one’s application is rejected, it would usually mean they are removed from the application process for the year. They can however apply the next year.
Candidates would usually get a chance to appeal within a window and should explore this option making sure to address the reason provided

Do we have to upload full passport or just front and last page??
Your passport data page is usually what is required
Clerkship or clinical rotations matter in ukfpo
Not really, all that matters is you need all the eligibility and application requirements. A clerkship is not one of those in most cases.
