I honestly pair hubris with enduring, spirit fury, and brutal strength, and it’s so fun to see a survivor panic when hubris activates and the pallet automatically explodes lol
it's fun but it's the sort of thing that only works once or twice. Once the survivors know you have those perks, all they have to do is avoid stunning you and pre-drop pallets. With no gen regression perks you're in for a tough match if they know what they're doing.

I love hubris on singularity. Get stunned with enduring hubris and then just teleport to them with slipstream. You can get two-three a game consistently
I'm honestly surprised Deathslinger isn't mentioned at the beginning. He strikes me as a solid user of Hubris since he can potentially spear any Survivor that stuns him and make up any lost distance. Back when Lightburn was still around I liked it on Wraith, since Lightburn also counted and it was a stun you could expect healthy Survivors to go for.
You're confusing slipstream with overclock mode. If u slipstreamed survivor, u want to get stun and then teleport. It won't work during overclock because singularity cannot be stunned during this.
5:34 without a doubt swing for a fall -- instead of falling at a curve, you fall straight down, keeps the klller tighter along the wall and closer in chase
I have used this with Singularity, intentionally getting stunned by a slipstreamed survivor and then teleporting to them after they’ve gotten some distance. It works decently.

Budding Dredge main here, I was planning on getting Knight as my next shard purchase so seeing Hubris work so well on Dredge just makes me more excited to get the perk and try it
I usually run Hubris on my pallet shredding Demo build, with enduring and spirit fury and obviously with the shred cd addon for breaking pallets. It's a nice build which forces survivor to either drop pallets earlier and have them being shred or drop them late and be exposed.
Otz, when a survivor escapes the killer's grasp by getting flashlight saved that survivor gets exposed from hubris, it isn't the survivor who blinded the killer.
I think Hubris on Singularity can also have some use if you let a slipstreamed survivor stun you. With enduring you can also immediately break the dropped pallet with a teleport, and the add on that reduces the hindered state helps get that one shot. A bit conviluted but still fun!
I love this perk on my Legion. I use Enduring, Spirit Fury and Surge with a 4th perk usually being information. I've used it, and I'd say effectively so, since early 2020, when I bought the Stranger things DLC. I usually went for a Feral Stab when someone's on a pallet in the way one would use the pig's ambush or coup nowadays, a "will he wont he" kind of deal where my reward for doing it is a hit, on an enduring stun without needing to break a pallet afterward. This perk has given me the reward for failing the mindgame too. It's also especially fun because survivors often just won't throw pallets because they know I'm gonna run somewhere else if I do hit them, giving me the option to hit and disable frenzy to get stunned instead, giving me more time. Genuinely the most fun build I've been enjoying for close to all my time in this game.
I run Hubris together with Spirit Fury and Enduring on Skull Merchant. It's not the best build but Skull Merchant's core abilities feel versatile enough to have some fun with builds and when Spirit Fury triggers together with Hubris its such a good feeling.
i run similar but I go Hubris, Nemesis, Game Afoot, Spirit Fury. I was running enduring but it just didnt do nearly as much as fury did and running those together meant i had to remove hubris.
Hubris also has pretty decent synergy with Demogorgon's shred as well. You shred and they don't drop the pallet? Easy injure. You shred and they mistime the pallet drop, stunning you? Hubris procs, and you have a good chance at a free m1 down. You shred and they drop the pallet early, knowing you have Hubris? You get a super quick pallet break. As long as you're not just missing your shreds, this perk alone can make Demogorgon really scary on loops without much additional effort.
There's a good argument for this on super movespeed hag. Possibly with Brutal Strength or another Pallet removal tool. If you're barreling towards them at extreme speed, you are very hard to loop and need to be stunned. If you need to be stunned, that means you get Exposed on them. While you lose access to the teleport, you create a situation with no correct answer. You could even add Spirit Fury as a third, ensuring the instant down with no way to escape. While we're sacrificing a lot of utility for this, the map will run dry of pallets very quickly, at which point while you can't threaten instant downs as much, you are a mach speed hag.
If you haven't tried Hubris + Enduring on Deathslinger it's pretty fun to just swing through pallets, and either get an injure or potential to get an insta down. Survivors get real spooked after they get exposed.
I'm Dwight and I'm a big fan of yours, I feel really honored by the second chance you gave me, you could have killed me earlier, the slow vault just before killing me didn't work, I'll have to review my way of playing against a spirit haha
Personally I favor Starstruck for spreading the exposed juice around, I feel like I get a lot of unexpected value from it. Not only do I get random 1 shot downs from people who don't run, but it also forces people to stay away while I'm putting someone on the hook, sabos are not safe, it also occurs on it's own as a part of normal gameplay. Granted it doesn't work as hot on killers with reduced TRs or weird TR mechanics (dredge during nightfall), but it's fantastic on ones who have a normal or larger TR while carrying. I love using it on Wraith since he can immediately speed up after he hooks them and hunt for someone who's got the juice all over them.
The Dwight is apparently an absolute god with saves, he has a short video on his channel and he actually seems really good. He hasn't posted in a while sadly but hopefully he comes back! Just subed to him
I use Hubris regularly on wraith. Spirit Fury, Enduring, Hubris, and some random slowdown perk alongside faster pallet breaking and the add-on that uncloaks after breaking a pallet. Collect downs like mad.
I empathise with this Kate - they must have been doing a "blind the killer X times" challenge - i remember taking so many games to get the "blind a killer 4 times in one match" challenge done
Here's hoping otz tries the spirit uchiwa build but with senko hanabi in the second slot. Not only recharging your power instantly if you get stunned but then blocking any window vaults in 8 meters is HUGE. Literally my favorite build on Mrs. Yamaoka.
You are very lovely Otz, I did catch the stream a bit were you talked about the massages you got asking about the dark place joke and it is funny seeing you do this opining to clarify it with your charisma and not out-of-character and your personality. I don't know what I'm saying but I was from the people who were worried and like I said it was fun hearing the opining line.
There actually is a good reason to last second switch to P100. When I run my P100 David it takes ages to get into a match because a lot of killers will dodge the moment they see a high prestige survivor. Sometimes it will be 5 or 6 killers before one actually agrees to go into the match, and when they do you can expect a difficult match against an Alc Ring Blight or Nurse. I just want to play my David but if the experience I get is long matchmaking times and Blight/Nurse every other game then I will last second switch.
This is my conflict. Cause I get that is why some MAY do the last second switch. But it still takes me back to the last second Key Switch before Hatch was nerfed. Or last second switch to a SWF Flashie Bully Squad. Just comes off wrong. Like why NOT allow a Killer to face you who feels they are up to offer you a challenge. Or want to challenge themselves. But as you said I get you don't only wanna go up against super cracked sweaty Killers. But it isn't fun when you last second switch vs say...someone like me, playing a Killer they never even play just to do a tome challenge. Or to practice. Or just for fun. And then I get destroyed cause like in this video, 3 Survivors last second switch to P100. And their names/cosmetics/something make it obvious they are in a SWF too.
Nice to see him finally getting out of his dark place.

the only rule of the hubris club:
if one person knows about hubris - everyone knows about hubris
I try to experiment with Hubris once in a while, I'll have to try it as Dredge for sure.
I don't have knight, so I didn't even know this perk exists
Otz' true form is pure light and warmheartedness
Here's hoping otz tries the spirit uchiwa build but with senko hanabi in the second slot. Not only recharging your power instantly if you get stunned but then blocking any window vaults in 8 meters is HUGE. Literally my favorite build on Mrs. Yamaoka.
Glad to see the "bright place" in response to the previous concerned comments - very cute haha and thank you for affirming Otz
I love hubris on billy. Survivors rarely expect an m1 instadown on him. Especially with enduring
Great upload as I'm finishing up my last event games
You are very lovely Otz, I did catch the stream a bit were you talked about the massages you got asking about the dark place joke and it is funny seeing you do this opining to clarify it with your charisma and not out-of-character and your personality. I don't know what I'm saying but I was from the people who were worried and like I said it was fun hearing the opining line.
I like using hubris, enduring, spirit fury, and brutal strength(brutal is optional)
I have a whole Hubris build from my Spirit, together with Brutal Strength, Enduring, and Spirit Fury. Lots of fun ^^
Every time I watch dredge gameplay it makes me wanna hop on and dredge gaming
the legion is good with hubris too, with his yellow addon to instantly fill his guage after being stunned
cant wait for the "otz in a bright place" nightlight as a merch drop
Otz has been having a lot of bright ideas lately
